   If in a hurry you may want to avoid this Costa during busy hours. It has no order number system. So orders frequently get mixed up. And are often put out in part, cluttering up the small serving area, that only holds a maximum of 3 trays. But all staff have been very polite & helpful. Watching them work, you really see they have to put a lot of work in to make all the drinks/food. They really do earn their money.

   I had a really bad experience at Costa in Bracknell Lexicon that left me and my 12-year-old son shocked. He noticed a game advertised as “50p to play, money goes to charity, chance to win a prize.” We’ve played something similar at other Costa stores, where the money goes into a visible charity pot and the game feels fair. But here it was completely different. The staff charged 50p and put it straight into the till — not into any charity pot. The “game” was just a bowl of coffee beans with stirrers, we played twice and blank so had a feeling of checking but when I checked, every single stirrer was blank. There was no real chance of winning, so customers are being misled. When I questioned this, the staff member said it was “for charity” and that she’d “fix it.” She disappeared into the back and never came back. On top of this, my order was also 70p short until I pointed it out. This looks and feels like a scam — Costa making money under the pretense of raising funds for charity. If this is genuinely for charity, there should be a transparent collection pot and a fair system. As it stands, customers are being deceived, and doing this in the name of charity is unacceptable.

   It took bloody 15 minutes to make one babycinno with marshmallows. Sunday, 4pm, not busy at all. We’ve been served with 2 babycinnos instead. They didn’t apologize. Everyone is sleepy and rude. Awful

   Popped in for coffee and cake on a weekend afternoon. There was a delicious range of cakes and the service was pretty quick. Lots of seating and everything was clean and tidy.

   One of the smallest coffee shops around, from midmorning to late it gets busy so not always possible to get seated, not a problem during the summer months but when you want to get out of the cold & rain during the colder weather not ideal. If it was bigger I'd give more stars

   Paid then never got coffee. Stood right by the machine to watch the staff serve many coffees before I finally cracked and asked where my coffee was. Mistakes can be made obviously, and normally, I would give the benefit of the doubt. But this didn't just happen to me, it happened to two other people whilst I was there. My coffee was awful, not hot enough YET somehow came to me with that awful burnt taste you would sometimes get from inexperienced Batista's! Undrinkable if I am honest. Won't return.
