Idyllic location and a quintessential English tea room. The chicken and bacon salad was delicious and freshly made. Good value for money. Staff very happy and efficient. Would highly recommend visiting.
Another lovely lunch at Englefield Tea Rooms. Coffee is really good and the falafel wrap is my favourite . Always a warm welcome and good quality food in beatiful surroundings . Highly recommend !
We had a wonderful afternoon celebrating our mums 80th. Everyone was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble! excellent afternoon tea and also catered for gluten free. Couldn't have been anywhere nicer to celebrate! Thankyou so much Englefield tea rooms we will be back!
Lovely tea room - reopened under new owners. Perfect Cappuccino and Granola. Spent an hour walking round the Englefield garden and sat in the sun having my coffee. The village now has a carpark opposite the tea room.
Great cakes and pastries. Excellent sausage rolls and samosas. Highly recommend this charming tea shop. Make sure you visit the garden centre too!
Absolutely lovely little find whilst my car was in the garage! Breakfast was incredibly well priced! The “small” breakfast was what I would consider a “normal” size! Not greasy, a proper sausage and with really lovely staff! Would 100% recommend to anyone in the area!
Englefield tea rooms are operating in a marquee - Ideal in this weather - from the shop and former tea rooms, while renovations are taking place to house, shop and tea rooms. Tea rooms open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at present. We have been for lunch after a local walk. Delicious salads, sandwiches and paninis etc. Also been for Afternoon tea - scrumptious. Well worth a visit.
My friend and I visited this tearoom again yesterday; our last visit was during the summer. What a pleasure to be back! The home-made cakes are 1000% delicious… We had the coffee cake and lemon cake… Lovely and moist. Excellent coffee from a cafetière. We look forward to returning again later this year. Thank you.
The lady who mans the café also bakes the cakes and her baking is fantastic. I eat far too much cake and can safely say that her coffee cake is one of the best I've ever had. Not dry, full of flavour, excellent butter cream. The cream tea was also worth every penny. Highly recommended for a genuine slice of good country baking (especially on a sunny day).
