    Shocking customer experience in Christchurch store today. Four staff standing around chatting yet no one offered to help us. Eventually one person came across but she had to find someone else to talk to us. He had no product knowledge whatsoever and he just glanced into the cupboard to announce they were out of stock. I will but online now

    What have they done to curry’s? No tills. No service people. Have to wait in line to get anything. Then they waltz off to find said item. I’m standing around waiting in an already long queue and he comes back and says, sorry it’s just been delivered and hasn’t been unpacked yet.!!!! If they hadn’t got rid of all the staff then maybe someone might be able to unpack them. So some advice to people, go to Southampton store. They might have what I want. Fingers crossed.

    Haven't been into a Currys for years and went just to look at laptop and all in ones to review specs and sizes and to ask some questions. We were greeted on entry and asked if we needed help, declined and went off to look at what was on offer. Had prompt response when we reached out for support some time later and Lewis, despite looking very young (doesn't everyone when you are over 50!), was quite rightly much more informed that we were, and helped demystifying some of the spec descriptions. He helped us discuss pros and cons, in an non patronising and relatable way. Credit to him, job well done and wanted to give him a shout out but nowhere on the Currys website to do this unfortunately.

    β˜…β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜† Poor Customer Service at Christchurch Branch from ASH I had a very disappointing experience at the Currys Christchurch store. Before visiting, I called to check stock for a specific Hoover and was told it was available. When I arrived, I approached a staff member, showed him the exact model on my phone, and was immediately told that if it wasn't on the shop floor, they didn’t have it β€” despite the website and my phone call confirming stock. I had to insist he check properly. Shockingly, he took my phone out of my hand without asking and checked their internal system, which confirmed they had four in stock. Even then, he tried to send me to another store. Only after further pressure did he reluctantly go and get the item from the back. At the till, when I asked about using a gift card, he rolled his eyes and acted like he couldn’t be bothered. A manager had to step in to help. Overall, the staff seemed disengaged, standing around chatting or on their phones rather than assisting customers. This kind of service is unacceptable, and it’s put me off shopping here again. I had also planned to buy a new TV soon, but I certainly won’t be getting it from this store. I had to get his name from a staff member who was talking to him as he was wearing no name badge.

    I visited the store today to look at the range of samsung tv. Whilst looking, an employee named Jack came over to offer his assistance. He was really friendly and knowledgeable and anything he wasnt sure on, he was quick to find on the tablet. He wasnt pushy at all and explained the pros and cons of buying online or instore. Excellent service.

    Loads of different types of appliances. We went to look at a hoover. Again lots to choose from. Make sure there in stock tho if you want it straight away. Young staff were friendly and not pushy.

    I visited this store because Curry's are supposed to be the Tech Guys.... Absolute Rubbish!. The member of staff I spoke too didn't know what a dolby 5.1 system was. I had to tell him. Incompetence at its best sadly.

    Bought a laptop for my grandson at this store this afternoon. Being served by Jack (op: 17) who was a delight to deal with! No nonsense, pleasant, informed conversation. A far cry from previous experiences with sales staff who were only interested in pushing the extras and extended warranties. Thank you Jack, well done, 5*!

    Poor Company overall, bought an item click and collect . Only too find out I had too wait 2 days for delivery after the order was placed, Telepsales staff rude. Shame because the store staff was OK not special but done their job.

    The worst shopping experience I have had in a good while. Around 2 weeks ago my wife and I went to buy Norton security for our devices,a seemingly simple thing to do. We waited for a while 5 or 6 mins and no one came to assist. I went and found a member of staff on the help desk who just pointed in the general direction of where I would find it. When found we went to the 3 unstaffed tills where we waited a further 5 minutes, still no one came to serve us. I then went back to the help desk but the woman disappeared before I got there. In the meantime another customer had managed to find a staff member to serve them at the tills. Alas they still couldn't take any money as the tills weren't even switched on. I then went back to the help desk where another member of staff was available. Only to find the till didn't work....again. We eventually spent around 20 minutes in the store buying something that should have only taken 10 at the most. I find the staff in this place very unhelpful and disinterested in doing their job.... We won't be returning anytime soon.
