   Ordered a garden swing and told what date it would be delivered. Wait all day until I get a phone call at 4.30pm saying they had my swing all ready made up. Explained it would not fit into the garden and would be a challenge to reach the house as we live up a lane. Driver then says he was mistaken and has our swing unasaembled and will be with us after 6pm. It is November, time of writing 16.54pm and it is already dark in central Scotland. Advised that I had concerns for it being built in the dark and how could I then inspect before paying hundreds of pounds. We asked him not to deliver under the circumstances. My husband and I then get told about his “disaster” of a day but that’s not our fault. A few minutes later we had the owner on who was very rude. He tried the sympathy card of the driver has driven 6 hours or more and then offered a discount if we just took the delivery. He then suggested we wait in the following day for it to be done in daylight, we have other plans and gave up the whole day today. Maybe I should have read these reviews first as I don’t think I’d have touched them if I had. Really not the kind of service you expect nor do you expect to feel obliged just to take and pay for something in the dark or that you then have to build on your own. Would suggest avoiding this company if seen at any craft fairs or just in general.

   I ordered a table set to be delivered to my caravan last week, it was promptly delivered on time on Monday morning. The driver was an engaging chap, who put the table legs on and even though I offered, he did all the moving himself. The quality is superb, and I can see this lasting years. Thanks for the quality of service and the quality of the product. Keep up the good work CT!

   I placed an order at the Charles Taylor Stand at Ashover Show and after reading some of the reviews I was a little worried however, the service was excellent. 2 days after placing my order the team called to arrange delivery (which was only 12 days after I placed the order), the day before delivery the driver, Scott called to give me a 1 hour time slot. Then Scott and his Dad arrived on time with the furniture, and they were polite, friendly and super helpful.

   The furniture is of low quality (it wasn't cheap), in several places something went wrong and the screws in the table went through the boards in the wrong places and are visible from above. The worst thing is that the delivered ambrella is dirty with mold, the metal elements are corroded, the paint is cracked. I do not recommend the company ! And don't believe the seller. I ordered my set on May 3rd, the seller assured that "they usually deliver in two weeks" they delivered after six weeks with an umbrella in the wrong color.

   So now the weather is getting better, my Charles Taylor garden furniture came the other day. It’s brilliant, the delivery came at the time they said. The wooden furniture is great, and knowing it’s coated in weatherproof oil is good. Well worth the money, thank you.

   Purchased from NEC Birmingham Told all in price, on delivery charged extra for delivery (we checked at show) Emailed Simon twice who said he would look into it, over three weeks now heard nothing, not even had a receipt of payment on delivery as was promised by email. Not impressed at all. Simon phoned today 8th November 2022 not a great conversation at all. We were not informed of a delivery charge until after we paid a deposit. Even though we asked before we purchased. Not admitting a mistake was made by not telling us. You are only ever as good as your customer service. Lesson learnt. Finally got a receipt of payment today.
