Great venue for a celebration meal after a family wedding. Great service, attentive and friendly staff, 5 stars for that. Disappointingly several of the mains were not available on the day, we weren’t told this when the menus were handed out, which is why I went 4 stars for food but to be fair the food we did have was very good, fish and chips was super. The place is bigger and lighter out back than the front would suggest with a lovely glazed seating area that we used. There are also cosy more traditional seating options including an open fireplace.

Place was very busy and waited 40 minutes to be seated at our table. Waiter was polite & informative and organised a drink on the house for us. Food was a bit disappointing, turkey was pre packaged roll type, sprouts were so hard we couldn't cut them also the broccoli. My friend said her chicken dish was tasteless.

We had a lovely Sunday roast here. The portions were very generous, and the beef sirloin was incredibly tender. The staff were very friendly, made us feel comfortable, and really paid attention to the details, which made the experience even better. We ordered the beef sirloin roast, the Wellington roast, cauliflower cheese (which unfortunately was quite tasteless), two cocktails, and a sticky toffee cake. The sourdough sticks were absolutely gorgeous. The pub-restaurant itself is beautiful, and overall the meal for two came to around £90, which felt reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Would definitely return for another Sunday roast!

This restaurant is a true gem. The atmosphere, decorations, and music were all excellent and really set a special mood. The entire team of staff members were super friendly. We especially want to highlight Valentina. She was super amazing and so helpful, truly making the entire experience memorable and making our day more special. She's a star!

We had our wedding at The Rose Inn in Wokingham and it was absolutely amazing! The Oakroom upstairs was beautiful, and the staff could not have done more to make our day perfect. They even designed signature cocktails for us and worked closely with us to create a food menu that our guests loved. The room was set up exactly as we had envisioned, and every request we made was handled quickly and with so much care. Everything ran smoothly, which made the whole experience so much less stressful and allowed us to just enjoy the celebration. Huge shout out to Will, Marcus, Daisy, and the rest of the team at The Rose — you gave us an unforgettable night of celebration, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful space with incredible staff!

The Rose Inn is a beautifully decorated pub restaurant, but what sets it apart from most other pubs is the wood oven - and their fabulous pizzas. Their pizza is Neapolitan style, which means light, thin-ish crusts, minimal toppings and each one cooked to order in the wood oven in just a few minutes. Their pizzas taste quite similar to what you get in Naples, with the star of the show being the pizza crust: it's so light and airy, with a beautiful scent and a wonderful chew. It's truly special. The rest of the menu at the Rose is definitely a cut above most pubs, with prices to match. The Porchetta is probably the standout dish. It is a Portuguese-inspired pork belly seasoned with Rosemary & Thyme. It's lovely. Service can be a bit slow when it's really busy, but the same can be said for most restaurants. The bar is a nice area tucked off to the left of the entrance. There is plenty of room for large groups, which have been present every single time I have visited. Overall the Rose Inn is .y favourite pub to eat at in Wokingham Town centre, and I highly recommend you give it a try.

I've visited a few times and usually the food is good. However most recently I turned up for brunch with 6 others. We all ended up choosing dishes that included poached eggs. All of the eggs were hard boiled. There were unripe avocados used too. We did mention this to waitress and replacements eggs were offered. Dishes were brought out over the space of 5 minutes, which meant some had nearly finished eating, when others had just started. Not usually like this, and hopefully just a blip.

Thank you to the Rose Inn for absolutely nailing our wedding on the 30th October. Frankie was an absolute superstar with the event planning and delivered a spectacular day. The food was outstanding and the bespoke cocktails created by James went down a treat with our guests. Will was also on hand to help with the configuration of the room. The Rose Inn provided a welcoming atmosphere, which will never be forgotten. Love you guys. Mr & Mrs Walker x

My wife and I had Sunday lunch in the bar. It was very busy and Shaikh, who was collecting plates and glasses, saw that we had not been served for some considerable time. He explained that we had to order at the bar and escorted me there, took our order, set our table and served us water and drinks. Clearly, he is a great asset to the Rose, and someone they should look after. The food was excellent.

We came here for dinner this evening after being frequent brunchers and had a great evening. The food was great and the calzone and tiramisu deserve a special mention. We were served by Teodora who was attentive and really nice. Also had a brief chat with the pizza chef who was equally as pleasant. Will definitely come back for dinner as well as our usual brunch (the hollandaise is just something else)!
