Warm welcome, good beer and lovely food with efficient service at this down to earth local. Care & attention to food shines through; fish & chips with fresh, not frozen, fish & home-made tasting gravy on sausage & mash. Recommended.

We visited with friends for Sunday roast as a colleague had heard great things about this pub with its new owners. Our booking was for 1pm and we were greeted with friendly faces and shown to our table. There was no menu but, we were shown the blackboard with all of today's choices written on it. There were a few choices if you did not want a roast. After getting drinks all four of us chose the roast lamb. When our food arrived OMG it looked incredible. Large dining plates with a great selection and portion of mixed veggies, roasties, cauliflower cheese and a large (but not football sized) Yorkshire pudding. All this covered and swimming in gravy. The Yorkshire was surprisingly moist and tasty for its size. I am not a fan of the huge ones as they are usually dry and crunchy but, this was perfect! The lamb was delicious and so soft and flavoursome. The selection of veggies were perfect and not overcooked. The roasties were fantastic and with the gravy were demolished with enjoyment. To cut a long story short. We finished our main courses with smiling faces and 4 completely empty plates. Pudding choices were 2 Sticky toffee Puddings with ice cream and 2 crumble and custard. Again four very contented diners having had what we all agreed was the best pub Sunday roast and pudding that tasted like it was home cooked! Thank you Grace and Mike for your hospitality. Looking forward to our next visit already (whenever that is..)

Lovely pub on our Thames path hiking!! The sandwiches we got were amazing! Wish the soft drinks quantity was bigger and womenβs toilet did not have a soap but other than that it was great! Highly recommend the fish goujon sandwich.

We chose The Three Horseshoes for our monthly craft club last night as we heard itβs under new management and wanted to try it out. We had such a great time. Every single member of staff was so accommodating, and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and give us the best experience. The food was delicious - we had some starters and pudding, my favourite were the smoked mackerel on toast, the nachos and the apple crumble. Weβll definitely be back very soon!

Nipped in for a Sunday roast before a train ride home. 2 mins drive from Henley Train Station/8min walk. Doors opened at 12:00pm, we shot in and our dinner was on the table at 12:20pm. Succulent beef and chicken, was opted for my plate. The Yorkshire puddings were so light and fluffy. Cauliflower cheese was perfect and super tasty.veg was cooked to perfection and the red cabbage was AMAZING. Highly recommend this place. Also has a pool table, live sports on 2 screens, an open log fire and wonderful friendly service.
