   Ordered a Chinese , after being overcharged , and it arrived barely warm . The food was well below average and for the price paid this shouldn’t be the case , it was an awful Chinese with no flavour and very bland , soggy chicken balls and soggy salt and pepper chicken , no peppers in the salt and pepper chicken instead it had carrots ?? The curry sauce was bland , stale prawn crackers , The pancake roll was made up of carrot again and bean shoots with nothing else in and they were considerably smaller than they have been before . All in all a waste of money and I shall not be ordering from here again and spending my hard earned money . It seems they have have put their prices up and lowered the food quality !!! Disgraceful!!! shame on you oriental express !!

   We had a lovely meal put from Oriental Express last night. Food was really good and service super friendly. The only thing I would improve was black been sauce was a bit too salty but all in all really great take away.

   My parents ordered from this place frequently until now. Last night they ordered two curries, the correct order was read back on the phone but the wrong food arrived. My mother called them back up to sort this out, the women on the other end of the phone became aggressive saying that they will not be coming back to sort this out. (She even confirmed they had ordered a curry not a chow mein!) She said the order was read back and she was basically blaming my parents for golden orientals mistake. I would personally avoid at all costs. They didn't get the money back and the food went in the bin.

   Delivery time good. Wrong items sent out, did offer to send out the correct item but pointless as rest of order would be cold by then. Did offer to provide free meal on next order and granted mistakes are made. However, food quality was terrible. Bland tasting and the smoked shredded chicken was like eating bullets, extremely overcooked. Will not order from here again and will pass on the free meal. Very disappointing when you rarely get a takeaway and look forward to it.

   I notice a lot of bad reviews for the Golden Oriental. I'm glad I never read them before I ordered as they might of deterred me. As it is, I've ordered twice from them recently and been extremely impressed on both occasions. The standard of the food and delivery times were spot on. I will most definitely continue to use them for my occasional Chinese takeaway treat!

   Ordered 2 dishes this evening, it wasn't exactly hot and out of those 2 dishes long hairs were found in both. This is not the first time I've had food seasoned with hair from this establishment. I am now concerned at their levels of cleanliness and the level of care taken to ensure good levels of hygiene are obviously not followed.
