Denis The Belgian guy AMAZING STAFF Since I moved to my new place in Friar street , I’ve made it a habit to come here to O'Neil’s on a daily basis for lunch—especially for the fish and chips. I find the place very nice and the staff extremely friendly, especially Derek and Dior, who always make sure not to forget my mayonnaise (being from Belgium, it’s a must-have with my dish!). The arrival of a new Irish pub nearby hasn’t changed my routine, as I truly enjoy this place—not just for the atmosphere, but also for the consistently warm and attentive service. Hats off to Dior, Derek, and the rest of the crew—you’re doing a fantastic job and always greet with a smile. Keep it up guys! Denis the Belgian guy

   Music too loud, when asked if it could be turned down slightly in one area, I was ignored. Mould around the urinals, sinks and hand dryers. Nails poking out of booths. Worst O’Neills I’ve been to. The one in Oxford is top tier

   I LOVE this place!!! I've been here twice with my good friend yesterday after a long afternoon of work. We came to watch Manchester United VS Tottenham. I ordered Southern Fried Chicken Wrap - via the app. I love this dish and is my new favorite if I am not very hungry. Service is amazing (always staff walking around asking if you want more drinks, take your order etc). Quality of tables and environment is amazing, clean floors, clean bathrooms and overall, my new favorite football watching local

   Plenty of screens showing sports, a live band on as well, busy, but table service in operation with the team constantly walking around taking orders. Toilets are downstairs. Doormen on the door. Overall a nice bar in the centre of Reading.

   Nice place in town centre of Reading, where you can meet friend after work. Not only, you can have a lunch and dinner as well. Not to expensive. They have a big screen and they play usually big football match and other sport match in all screens around the pub.

   Very nice place for sporting events with lots of TVs so you can watch them all. The place was clean and the service was really fast, even though it was packed. Security guys friendly and always on the lookout for troublemakers. Enjoyed some proper pints with my friends. Loved it!
