This has to be the best craft beer pub in Reading. Constantly rotating taps and pumps. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The pub itself is a little small when reading are playing at home and local fans come in pre match. It does have seating outside though under marques which is good although can get cold in winter. Long may this pubs continue selling great beer.

A pub that delivers on both food and drink; hearty fare and a wide array of ciders and ales. The sausage roll and the beef brisket bun are really tasty. Evenings on the patio are comfortable and full of atmosphere.

I came here for supper and a drink with the other young adults from my church after our evening service. The food and drink was amazing, and the service was wonderful. We would definitely come here again and would highly recommend this pub to others.

Berkshire’s favourite pub! Super friendly atmosphere, hundreds of ales beers whiskeys etc to choose from. A true real ale pub. If you’ve never been, put it at the top of your list of pubs to visit in Berkshire. It’s dog friendly and they have a huge garden. Also some tasty bar snacks. Brisket sandwich for the win.

Have been visited many pubs in Reading and found this one of the best pubs in Reading. Great service, good and friendly staff, Cosy atmosphere and has an amazing beer garden. Love the variety of beer they are serving. Plenty of cask pumps and many more of keg taps and all beers were in excellent condition. The prices were amazingly down mean pocket friendly and surprised me compared to places around. Defo coming back again and surely recommend to all beer lovers.

Excellent selection of beer, but it reeks of slops. Menu is minimal but the toastie acceptable. The fire is a nice touch. There's the possibility of sun in the garden.

Continues to offer the widest, and best, beer experience pretty much anywhere As ever a fantastic selection of cask beers and the smoked pulled pork roll is worth a visit on its own

My favourite pub in Reading! I’m not British but I love a good choice of ales and ciders, and I’m priding myself as being a bit of a nerd when it comes to it. The bartender didn’t disappoint, he made me try different types of cider and helped me choose one that I absolutely loved. That’s exactly what makes a good pub for me, so can’t recommend enough.

What an amazing boozer. Incredible selection of craft beers and craft cask ales. They must have easily 12 cask pumps and about 6 keg lines. It got packed very soon and understandably so. I wish I lived in Reading so I could visit it often!
