Fantastic little pub proper food and drinks, plenty of parking. One of the last real pubs in England well done
Just moved to the area and live down the road, so glad to have this as my local pub, pizzas cooked to order are packed with flavour have a beautiful charred crunch base. Beers change regularly so you can taste so many local brews. Good vibe and atmosphere in the place. Friendly staff. Glad to be a new local at the place !
Love to visit this pub when I stay with my daughter who lives in Caversham, I live in Menorca. Always plenty of different ales ciders and lagers etc to try. Guys there are lovely. Will be back in December
Excellent Beer. Rooms? Jaipur is well kept now it’s settled. Staff experience. Varies inevitably according to who served. Bar staff really good. Folks collecting glasses, a bit irritating. Say thank you!
Hands down, the best pub in Reading. Excellent range of beers and ciders on offer, just a 10 minute walk from the town centre. Always has very friendly staff, willing to offer samples and tally through their offerings. Incredible pub garden, which gets the sun for a lot of the afternoon. Can't fault it. Will be back many times I'm sure! Edit: Google asked me to update my review. All of the above still relevant. ALTHOUGH... Some very pricey pints if you want an IPA. Pump and cider crowd will be very satisfied. Ding Lager at £5 a pint is fab though.

Nice pub. Outside area is great. Inside less so. Really good selection of beers... But it is expensive for Reading craft prices, and the staff although friendly, don't seem that knowledgeable on the beer they serve.
Popped for a beer to meet some friends on account of the pubs claim which was having a great selection of ales. They didn't disappoint and did have a great selection of beers, ales and ciders. Didn't stay for food sadly, but they did have a decent selection of bar snacks too. Had a relatively large outdoor space which was pretty cool.
Dropped in here a few times. One of the largest selections of beers and Ales in Caversham and Reading. Large outdoor space and friendly staff, also a perfect post ride Pizza!
As a lone female traveller it's often a bit daunting to hunt out real ale pubs. Not so here! On entering I was made to feel instantly welcome. Lovely bartender and punters. Lovely doggo too :) Great selection of ales well described by the knowledgeable bartender. Very tasty pizza, freshly cooked. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area! Was certainly worth the walk from my hotel!
