   I had a great experience at Argyle & Thistle. The manager is very friendly and professional, and the service is excellent from start to finish. The menu is awesome with a great variety of delicious food, and everything we tried was well prepared and full of flavour. What really stood out is their festive spirit — they’re hosting Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve parties, which makes it a perfect place to celebrate the holidays with friends and family. Highly recommended for great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere!

   Over charged because of a confusing menu. Wine was tasteless. Steak was over done. Ordered from one till and then made to pay at another. Then commented on me not bringing our drinks to the table myself. Waitress seemed happy to tell me our over cooked steaks and tasteless wine was £30 more than we expected it to be because over their confusing menu. Just a really annoying place. Their attitude made me feel like they were paying us to be there.

   Bobby had a great service really made the night special and made sure we all had a great time. Would 100% reccomend this pub for family and friends to have an amazing evening. Bobby was inspirational and really represented how all bar staff should treat customers.

   So happy this pub has reopened after the refurbishment - looking amazing! Great atmosphere, very cosy inside, friendly staff, well-priced food! It would be nice to have another cider on tap though :D

   Wow, looking great after it's refurbishment, went for a 50th birthday lunch today, we can certainly recommend the scampi and the chicken tikka! (Coffee was great as well. Thank you guys for a lovely lunch, will be coming back for sure :)
