   What a lovely little pub, good real ale (the Deuchars that was on when I visited was excellent), friendly staff and a good little games room with pool and darts available. A hidden gem in Tilehurst, worth a visit. No food currently but I understand they are working on that so fingers crossed. :)

   Great local old fashioned pub. Spit and sawdust, no frills, but great home from home. Bar staff always welcoming, very dog friendly. Popular draft and great guest ales.

   Old-fashioned pub with an unusual layout and a huge garden. A very nice pint, well kept. Dog friendly. A few very, very sweary loud old men (friendly, just sweary) but that's par for the course round these parts. Bar staff very friendly, good service. One of the better pubs in Tilehurst, although the benchmark is admittedly very low.

   I've been visiting this pub occasionally for over 15 years. It's always been a consistently good visit. A wonderful choice of beers and an excellent pint of Guinness. Great atmosphere with a distinctive Authentic English hue. Everyone who passes through the door brings happiness by entering, some through leaving.
