They do not serve food only drinks and snacks, also very helpful staff, always eye contact with customer taking orders for drinks, has later games inside like darts and fruit machines.

Good pub. Well run with friendly staff. The reason for low rating is the range of Lager available. They had premium Lager such as Cruz Campo and Stella, however this has been replaced with low alcohol tasteless lagers such as Carlsberg, Amstel, Carling and Fosters. Who makes these sorts of decisions?
Absolutely lovely little bar in Oxford Road, currently run by Andy. Really good prices and always a warm welcome, had my birthday bash in there with 30 friends, They were really accommodating and helpful, definitely would recommend it
It’s a pretty decent and lively local pub, situated in the heart of busy Oxford Road, between a convenience store and a pharmacy. The bar itself is a small, comfortable space but there’s plenty of seating. Shows a variety of sporting events on several large screens situated around the bar. So you’ll be able to see most televised events here. Very popular for big football matches. It’s usually bustling most evenings and it frequently hosts special events- I visited on St. Patricks day this year which was great fun. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the prices for draught beers and ciders are very reasonable. Only had the Guinness so cannot comment on wines or spirits or other drinks. Theres a seated area outside which is also the smoking area. Good transport links nearby- right by the main road, close to bus stops and Reading West station plus walking distance from the town centre. Accessible too as its all on the ground floor with no steps to access. Do not assume it’s for locals only- it’s a really friendly place and worth a visit to support a decent community pub.

Great Pub. Reasonable price. Excellent selection of beers. You can really feel the native atmosphere during match of England. I strongly recommend this place to all the football fans. This place is just fantastic and should receive an award.
Nice typical English Bar. Great fun to be had here. Good selection of Beers. No Food Menu. Nice place to watch Sport on TV and have a nice Pint in good company. Under new Management. On the Oxford Road in the West Reading area Bus stop for 17 Bus to Town and on up to Tilehurst outside. Great for groups or alone.
