    Very polite and helpful staff. Easy to book over the phone or online. Very competitive prices. The work I had done was less than half the price quoted by my local garage.

    MOT was not done citing oil in coolant. When I came back after fixing everything, I have been told I have to book again and pay charges for MOT all over again. When I stood back to discuss I was politely shown the door.. Never expected this treatment after being a member.

    The Wokingham branch and their management and staff are excellent. Good work done at a reasonable price and I did business with them in full confidence they were trying to assist without the feeling you get in some places you’re being ripped off. I have recommended this place to others and it will be my first point of call if and when I need motoring services in the future. Well done. It makes a change these days to get this high standard of service.

    Just popped in for a car key battery- nice guy looked for the relevant one on his system; because the system didn't advise which one to use he said "I could look it up myself- or take the key apart myself to find battery" I left the store will look up myself and buy elsewhere. Not sure why if customer service and sales were not front of mind he could not look it up in a different way or advise how to take the key apart ther and then!!!! Won't be back unless it's for oil!

    Shocking service! Took car to Auto-centre for a full service including oil change and MOT. After collecting the car, oil warning came on saying urgently need to stop and top up oil. Turns out they never put the oil back in after doing the first part of emptying it! Could have blown up the car. Never going there again. How can you forget to put the oil back? Had to urgently go supermarket and buy a bottle before engine blew! Took back today and claiming they did, and must be leaking. Checked car and can’t explain the leak so clearly didn’t fill it back up! This was the manager that worked on our car too!!

    Had a mixed experience here. I’ve booked in for one of the free tyre checks which went well and I was able to book at short notice. Turned out I needed four new tires (treads were between 2 to 3,MM) and so I asked for a mid range one. The chap recommended some Firestone ones with C and A efficiency for wear and weather. So far so good. I would have liked to have been shown the options (and with hindsight I will now always shop online to get the choice) rather than just suggested a tyre but I went with it. Came back the next day as they had a slot they could fit the tyres and they did without an issue. Went to pay and was told Β£440 for some midrange tyres which caught me off guard as when I’d looked online they worked out at Β£91 each… I paid and then spoke to their customer service who refunded me but felt like I was robbed. Note to customers - order online as you’ll get a lot cheaper prices. Giving 4 stars as they refunded straight away and the staff in the shop were helpful. Just left slightly disappointed I had to pay Β£20 extra per tyre initially.

    Needed some wiper blades for my car. Ordered online, selected Wokingham Halfords as they could fit them on Saturday, turned up at booked time and job was completed in 5 minutes. No fuss. Really easy.

    I booked an appointment with Halfords in Wokingham for the rear brake pads replacement. I turned up today (5-11-2022) at 08:30 hours and I was told it would be ready after lunchtime and that they would call me. I went back just before 2pm and was told the car was ready and when I asked what time it was done I was told first thing in the morning. When asked why weren’t I contacted the lady told me she called me but it was out of service. When I challenged her she said she thought there was something wrong with their phone line and to me that meant she didn’t bother to call me. That is really poor costumer service. This was not a free of charge service, and staff at Halfords have got a job because of costumers. I would never use Halfords again.

    Went in for a MOT booked for 3:10pm. Email said to turn up 10 mins before the booking. So I turned up before 3.10pm. Then I was told the MOT is booked for 4:00pm.. car should be ready to collect around 5:00pm. Apparently the booking time and the MOT time are separate. So basically had to wait 2 hours instead of 1hour.. Halfords should make this clear to customers at point of booking. Other than that the service provided was overall good.
