Little gem of a place, stopped for breakfast - delicious big portions and the owners and staff are very friendly.

Raining heavily so downed tools and went for a fry up, having never been here before. I've cycle toured Scotland 6 times so have become a bit addicted to Scottish delicacies so I got rather excited when I saw "Jumbo Scottish Breakfast" on the menu. Exquisite black pudding and square sausages (when enquiring what brand of black pudding it was and where did they get it from I was told Stornoway in the outer Hebrides, and the square sausages was also sourced from Scotland I was rather gutted) love the potato scones. All that was missing was Lasagna pie to take away with me.

The two guys running the place were nice and were inviting to everyone that entered. Food was delicious and large portions. The smashed avocado with poached egg was best I’ve had. A must for breakfast!

The jumbo breakfast was excellent. Perfectly cooked with good quality ingredients and is excellent value for the money. Washed down with a latte in an air conditioned dining area which is spacious and nicely decorated. Highly recommend this gem of a cafe.

Ordered 2 of the breakfast wraps to takeaway with brown sauce and they were absolutely delicious. Will certainly be heading back to try a breakfast

Popped in and had the Scottish jumbo breakfast and it was honestly the best I’ve had outside of Scotland after speaking with the staff I found out they have all of their Scottish ingredients sent down from Scotland which is lovely to see the square sausage and black pudding was incredible! Well done would highly recommend if you get the chance.

Very poor, or though they have kept the menu ruffly the same as the cafe before them that is all that has remained the same. I used to love popping into this cafe before but not anymore. Sausages, poor quality (Cheap) and cold. Bacon, looked nice But was cold. Eggs, quality was there but arrived hard (over Cooked) and cold. Beans were cheap and cold. Tomato's were the only nice thing on the plate. Toast was cold even when they buttered it as the butter was still hard not even showing signs of melting. Mushrooms were nice but had not been washed properly as they were crunchy (bits of soil) Coffee tasted like weak tea (undrinkable) and the Black pudding well this was deep fried I did wonder what had happened to it but once I had cut into it and all the grease had come out all over my plate I realized that it had been deep fried, and anybody who deep fries a black pudding needs to look at why they are even in the kitchen!! cheap sachets of sauce tables not cleaned All this and we had waited 30 minutes and at nearly £12 for one breakfast you really need to do better a lot better I was so hungry and looking forward to it, it was such a shame to pay £20 wait half an hour and then not even eat, and on leaving I made the owner aware that It was one of the worst breakfasts I had ever had and that I had left it all as it was cold and not very nice this just got ignored. Poor show very poor show

Stumbled across this gem today. They have the best breakfasts, BLT’s and gingerbread late. They were ever so kind and welcoming- they let us try their black pudding which was phenomenal!
