I've been to this Costa many times over the years and it is always brisk with trade but have always found a seat. Good service and great coffee
Pastries are always soft and fresh here (unlike other Costa's in the area). This Costa is always exceptionally busy. Majority of staff are lovely and extremely attentive. There is one male staff member who tends to "bark" at you when ordering which can be a bit off-putting. Rest of the staff are good. Café is usually very noisy and as such conversations are more difficult to have.
The great thing about visiting Costa is you know how good it's going to be before you get there! Whichever shop you visit, you're assured of the same quality of food and drink as every other shop in the franchise!
Came in around 9 took about 10/15 minutes to even get served or even be acknowledged that I wanted to order there was two staff on to which one staff left leaving the other guy alone for about 10 minutes once he came back they were more focused on delivery’s one I got my coffee about 20 minutes later tasted like coffee granules won’t be visiting here again waste of money and not the greatest start to my day
Very nice coffee, pricey and I enjoyed it far more than my wallet but was the caffeine boost I needed. Price of food is ridiculous hence the one star but its not bad.
Staff and cleaning staff super friendly and the tables were spotless. Lady on the young man were smiling and very helpful and bubble was nice to see
The lady on the till was very nice and chatty, and the man cleaning and washing up the plates was hard working, all the tables were clean. Great service and good coffee
The staff are lovely, the building itself feels dirty and run down. The toilets are always disgusting. When I last went in there was a leak in the window/roof and the window sill was wet and rotting. I was also served a hot chocolate with gone off whipped cream (the staff where lovely and made me a new one) Have also seen one or 2 rats outside the front doors.
Very good Costa place with friendly staff. The place itself has a lot of natural light, 3 of the 4 walls are almost glass-made letting the sun light in. Even though it is a crowded place, it is reasonably quit and comfortable. Couple of sofas too which makes it cosier. It is surrounded by cheap-like shops so a great place to start the Saturday cheap-shopping day
