   Superb service. Water leak in the boiler uncovered a broken water valve in the header tank and it required 3 visits to rectify They advised a part in the boiler needed replacing and it was still under warranty Service desk advisor rang to confirm upcoming visit. Great company

   I put a 900 watt microwave in to get fixed they replaced it with a 40 watt light bulb. It now takes 25 minutes to heat a can of beans No you didn't replace the bulb you replaced the magnetron. .....Gone a little quiet now

   Had my 3 year old boiler serviced a week ago. It had worked before the service and during the service. The following day, no boiler. Called out CAS Duncan again the following day and the same engineer turned up. His opening line was “there’s nothing I did during the service that would cause it to stop working” He said the fan had failed. Following day, engineer from manufacturer turns up and changed the fan. Boiler still not working and I was advised it was the pump. CAS Duncan called out again to quote for a new pump. Different CAS Duncan engineer turns up and “opens” one of the two valves on the filter which had been left closed. Pump was OK but boiler still not working. Second visit from the manufacturer who “opened” both valves on the filter and the boiler works fine. There were two visits from supposed boiler engineers at CAS Duncan after the service, who failed to recognise the issue; one of whom was the engineer who had shut the valves in the first place. I had to make myself available on 4 separate occasions after the service to get this simple issue resolved. After a little elbow work, I did get an apology but needless to say, I will not be using their services again.
