   I’m a woman alone, who got completely and utterly ripped off by this place. Car went in for MOT and was kept for a week. I was told it needs welding on exhaust and brakes fitted. I was given a loan car on Day 3 as I needed transport to do my job. £750 later with a very vague and non descript invoice, I got the car back. When testing my headlights - only one worked! So I went back. They “fixed” the headlight. It is still dimmer than the other one so I’m unable to drive at night. I then drove to my next job and my exhaust starts making a huge noise. On inspection, 250km of driving, they had not welded a thing but rather placed putty on my exhaust! How is this £750 worth of a job?! Now, I feel nervous to go anywhere because I don’t think they looked properly at the workings of the car at all. They treat women like dirt and ripped me off so badly! Gareth, I can’t believe your ethics.

   I DO NOT recommend this garage , The turbo was replaced at our request due to it failing . The garage replace it with a new one which only lasted three months !! They wouldn't replace or do the work as these parts were under guarantee . It was a significant investment to mend the vehicle which we lost. A total farce to be honest left us right in the lurch. They were happy to take the money in the first place. They shouldn’t even be operating!!!

   Had to stop of en-route to Wales due to my engine warning light coming on. Grant & Steven could not have been more helpful. Got my motor in and ran diagnostics giving me a good idea as to the possible cause. They gave me notes to take back to my local garage too. TOP CLASS, great guys and a lovely 'clean' well organised, modern garage.

   I called these guys to book my car for MOT and service. They had agreed to pick up my car the next day at 8:00am. They didn't show up. I called and left a message asking what went wrong and could they call me. I called a second time. They did not call back. I tried a third time and yet again went to voice mail. I was very disappointed as aI am not able to drive after neck surgery. I would NOT recomend The Garage @ Shurlock Row. Terrible place.

I’m very grateful and would recommend anyone to do business with Gareth, great to meet someone you can trust.
