Belated thanks to Brett and Mr Clutch for replacing the clutch on my VW Jetta so expeditiously and at little more than half the cost I was quoted elsewhere. An appointment was offered early in the week following my call to Brett ,on 9th Sept to be precise. By noon that day I had a new clutch,something we have much appreciated as the car is now a dream to drive ! Brett has arranged for regular checks just to make sure all is okay under the warranty.Many thanks,Mr Clutch.I would thoroughly recommend this service.

Absolutely low ball and below standards. I have been a loyal customer since 1 year and how Brett and co treated me at the MOT is disappointing. Word is that they changed the way they took care of their customers. I am always on par with my servicing and MOT, but they stalled me till last moment only to fail me on my MOT and when asked for a solution offered none and asked me to shop around. Well, had to hire some guy who ripped me an arm and leg to get the car back on road, if only Mr. Clutch could have been like how they were before all this could have been prevented. Bottom line - I am not going to them any more and I wonβt recommend them to anyone one. Better off with someone who knows how to deal with loyal customers.

I wonβt come back. I took my car there as I had a problem with the clutch, after couple of days there, they said they have resolved my problem but as soon as I got on the motorway the same happen again, luckily it was traffic and we were not going too fast. We took the car back and they said it wasnβt their fault as they didnβt even touch the clutch, when that was exactly why I took my car there. Anyway they fixed my car and I asked if they could do my MOT as well. When I pick up the car, I paid the MOT and they told me everything was fine with the car (no paper was given to me from MOT, which was my fault to not ask) but I didnβt think about that anymore. After couple of weeks we discovered that the MOT wasnβt done, we went back and they didnβt know to explain me what happened, my car didnβt pass the MOT (which is very unsafest o drive for so long thinking my car was all safe to do so) and I had to pay for the MOT Again! Awful service.

I used Mr Clutch about a month ago to replace my brakes. They did a great job and I was happy to book in a service and MOT based on their service. I was told to drop my car off at 0830. I arrived at 0840. I was told that I had missed the MOT slot as I was supposed to arrive 10 minutes before. The speed and rant of which I was told this made me ask him to repeat it again as I I was not made aware if this and I wasn't prepared to be rerimanded in such a manner. I was told by the "manager" that he would have booked it in and would have told me. I remember a different person booked me in a much friendlier person, I may be wrong but the customer approach was entirely different. but I was not told to arrive earlier. He seemed quite irritated and under pressure and his demeanour was aggressive. I asked about what happens next so he said that I had missed and would need to rebook the earliest being 12 November which is beyong my MOT expiry, they said that I could do the service that day. I asked what slot what my service for and was told that there isn't a slot for service but just leave the car and they would call me when it is ready. I asked why there are slots for MOT and not service and this seemed to really irritate the "manager". I said OK let's get my car booked in and pushed my keys towards him this seemed to have confused him and he asked for the MOT and I said no, the service. I said that he is quite combative, he said he didn't like MY attitude and said I should leave. Well, I don't know what is happening in his life at the moment but he should consider the way he talks to customers. I am not saying that I was right, he was right about turning up 10 minutes before but noone had told me. No reason to get all aggressive and ask me to leave because there was a miscommunication. Anyway i hope his situation improves but I won't be going back. MOT and service booked elsewhere next week at another place by a clearly busy but friendly person who even took a second to smile.

today I went to do the interim service which they did not fill out the INCOMPLETE inspection And by the way, they give me the service for 10 months, which is normal for 12 months, review sheet and to top it off they scratched my left front fender the manager says that it is impossible I know my car before leaving it to him and he tells me that he is going to see the cameras yes ok but you will see it but not me! bad services. I have been taking my car to MR CLUTCH Basingstoke for 3 years. So he does not answer for the bad service the scratch they caused during the server he asked me to take it before 9 am. and they delivered it to me at 2:00 pm
