   I have used this garage for many years and have received excellent service. They are fair, competant, friendly and have never tried to up-sell suggesting additional work of marginal benefit. A garage that can be trusted is a valuable thing and I trust them entirely.

   Disappointing Customer Service Experience I walked into the reception, greeted the staff, and was completely ignored. They helped the person ahead of me, then the staff member left to move a car, briefly returned, and then disappeared again for a while. When I finally had the chance to explain the issue—just a minor problem with the exhaust—I was told, “We can look at it next Wednesday.” I was genuinely surprised, especially since the garage was empty and the issue would have taken a couple of minutes to inspect. I repeated, “A week just to look at it?” and was met with a blunt “yup.” That was enough for me. I didn’t bother pursuing it further. It’s clear they’re not interested in customers or their business. I definitely won’t be returning.

   I read about EA autos in Padworth newsletter and filled out their online form, where I marked I would like a service and mot in April, two months ahead. I thought this service is close, exactly 3.7 miles, 7 minutes drive so I marked that I would like a pick-up and drop-off. Marc e-mailed me what did I want, so instead of explaining it in writing I called them up. I asked him about pick-up, he quickly stated " we don't do pick-ups." Well, it is on your website form. Then asked me where I lived and I said where, he said no, in Reading, no, they didn't do pick-ups. I said I lived 3.7 miles away. That took him a while to sink in that I was talking about Padworth. First, he didn't know where it was. He owns a business here but has no idea where it is located. Then he wanted to book me in but I asked for a quote. Then he said something about ordering different parts and he needed to check it and would e-mail me later. Well, ladies, no thank you. I booked a service through AA approved garage scheme straight away without waiting a second longer. Something smelt fishy to me.

   Great place to get your car serviced and MOT. A friend recommended them to me and as his quite fussy but also Money cautious I thought I would give them a go. They are so quick and keen to help. They found a slight issue with the Headlamp adjustment screw and they were able to fix and resolve it there and then. I usually hate waiting to get things done but when having an MOT I am now a fan as they can properly show you any issues at the time. Recommended.
