Popped into Costa boxing day morning. It was very busy but the service was still good. Best Costa in Derby .
The service here is exceptional . I visit 3 times a week to get my iced latte before dialysis, the staff ensure they get to know their regular customers and know what drinks they prefer. The staff are always friendly and chatty , I cant say a bad word about them .
Staff at RDH main entrance Costa were a little grumpy today. We all have bad days, but getting a side eye from a member staff as they had to let their colleague know they got the order wrong wasn't very festive. However, ordered drink was enjoyable. Cheer up Costa, it's Christmas!
Dink was over £1 extra for being served in a hospital setting, causing the price to be boosted up to £5.25 for a singular medium drink, the drink was then prepared without key ingredients and I was not informed that the ingredients we're missing while placing the order therefore I did not have the option to change it. Overall the drink was flavourless due to the missing ingredients and definitely not worth £5. for this being a hospital setting where they deal with patients having issues with sugar intake and calories, missing ingredients was a major problem and I am concerned it will become an issue with someone who requires a certain intake on sugar etc.
Great new Keto menu - LARD! Fab new low carb menu for diabetics, lard! As seen in the fridge today. Can't believe how many negative people this branch gets write ups from. Just goes to show everyone in hospital is there because of their negative mind. I found the staff here very helpful and working as fast as they can to give fresh coffee. Maybe all the people who dont want to wait, can go to the £1 machine just down the corridor.
Always clean , great atmosphere, family coffee every Sunday morning.
Its a Costa coffee shop, what is there to add?,its expensive, for a Oasis fruit drink, a hot choc and 2 cinnamon rolls was almost a tenner, I'd rather of spent it elsewhere and got a lot more for my money, unfortunately it was the only coffee shop in the hospital,its quite pokey in this one as well...
Faster service than most Costa outlets and the coffee was not too hot
