   This is our go to pub in Romsey. It has such a lovely, friendly atmosphere irrespective of whether it's a hot summers day or a cold winters night. Charlotte and the rest of the team make it a very personal experience so it stands out as one of the best.

   I always enjoy going for a drink at the Cocky! Love the table service, ambiance & their Downton Gin or Rose. However, it truely came into it's own last Sunday when it turned what could have been a somewhat sad occasion into pure joy. I requested their upstairs event room to hold a tribute & celebration of my Mum's life. It's a lovely room with such a good feel. From start to finish one of the staff, Charlotte, helped me to organise the afternoon. She was torally professional but, in a relaxed way, always with a smile, respectful too. Made it all so easy. On the day she was our hostess & quietly served the guests their drinks. Everyone loved it & I can't thank Charlotte & the Cocky Anchor enough.

   Given the location (right in the centre of town), there's a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. I've visited with large groups and just one or two people, and it's always worked nicely! The setting outside also offers pretty views of Romsey Abbey. The interior feels warm, homely, and cozy. It's not too loud: you can actually go in and have a conversation without being drowned out by music! Very nice, overall.

   Amazing micro pub in Palmerston Square in Romsey. Great staff, Flacks beer and lovely time. Go and support this new pub with a great outlook and a small beer garden. Well worth visiting. Loved it.

   What a lovely surprise to find this gem of a pub!! Fabulous range of draught beers & spirits & lovely staff too. Some won't like there being no food or coffee but I didn't - there's lots of cafes etc around. It's a proper old fashioned little pub. I'll invent a reason to go to Romsey again just to visit this pub again.......
