A group of us went for Tipsy Tapas and it was our first bottomless brunch experience. We had such a brilliant time! Our waitress (Bleona) was so lovely and attentive. The staff in general were so hard working and the service was seamless. Fantastic experience, we definitely got our moneyβs worth and canβt wait to go again!

To the Exchange, Romsey Just wanted to leave this review and say how lovely all your staff were today for my sister in laws baby shower. They couldnβt have done more to help set up and continually offering their help and support. The food was absolutely incredible the loveliest afternoon tea Iβve had. The host was super helpful and helped make the afternoon run as smooth as possible. Nothing was too much. Thank you!

Hired The Exchange for a private birthday. Naomi was personable and organised with planning and Amy and the other staff were amazing on the night, so organised and attentive including kindly assisting with decorating. Guests were impressed by the food, particularly the chicken. Several of our guests said that they would visit again and were asking about opening hours and food. We insisted on tidying up even though staff were happy to. Thank you for exemplary service on a brilliant evening.

After an unsuccessful attempt to get into a nearby restaurant, we decided to try The Exchangeβand what a fantastic decision that turned out to be! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who explained that seating was limited but invited us to wait at the bar with drinks. Within just a few minutes, they managed to find us a table, and we were soon enjoying a delicious lunch. I chose the club sandwich, which featured the most perfectly crispy breaded chicken Iβve ever had. My partner opted for avocado and egg on sourdough, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The portions were generous, the food was fresh and flavourful, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. We highly recommend The Exchange for lunch, and we canβt wait to return in the evening to experience the atmosphere and try the tapas menu.

The staff were friendly and fairly attentive. We ordered soup of the day (butternut squash) and a tuna melt panini. Our hot drinks arrived while we were waiting and our waitress also informed us that our food was on its way. The food was really good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was a little subdued, but that meant we could have a nice conversation, without having to raise our voices. This would have probably been a 5 star review, but when we came to pay, I offered to pay a tip, but the waitress explained that there was already a service charge added, which Iβm not a fan of. The manger explained that the company that had recently taken them over insisted on thisβ¦. Oh well. The Exchange is definitely worth a visit, if youβre visiting Romsey.

My husband and I had our 30th birthday party here and we had a great time. Communication in the run up to the party was great and Naomi was just a text away. Max was so helpful on the night and made the best cocktails. The staff constantly checked in throughout the night to check we were happy - super attentive. Great night celebrating perfect venue.

The food was such a disappointment. The avocado on toast was two pieces of white bread with a few slices of beetroot from a jar making the bread soggy, sliced hard avocado and a few tomatoes plonked on top. There wasn't any salt or pepper on the table and the service charge was a seemingly compulsory addition to the bill. I gave it two stars only for the venue and decor as it is a lovely place with a lot of potential.

Staff were very friendly and efficient. Location is perfect, right in the heart of Romsey and ambience is OK - a bit soulless but not unpleasant. It is next door to a very popular and busy cafe with long queues for a table, which is why we ended up in the Exchange. I don't think we'll be going there again as it is quite pricey for some items : a croissant with butter and jam cost Β£3.50 and was very small, although it was very tasty; pain au chocolat was Β£3.00; two slices of toast with a pot of jam also Β£3.00. Coffee is very good and only Β£2.50 for a big mug. The menu looks good but we only tried the breakfast items.
