   As a VERY nervous and phobic dental patient I was extremely reticent about starting an implant journey to replace 2 back molars. From the outset I was reassured and felt in control of my experience. I opted for conscious sedation with an anesthetist for my initial surgery which included bone and sinus grafting. The procedure itself was straightforward but recovery was arduous- don’t underestimate the impact of sinus grafting- particularly if you are a person who is a bit of an exercise fanatic- realistically recovery took at least 6 weeks rather than the 2 weeks I had naively assumed. I could not eat properly or exercise in any meaningful way for at least 6 weeks which was hard. For the rest of the journey I had conscious sedation with Nick which was administered intravenously - this made the procedures so much easier for both Nick and myself. Although not properly “asleep” I was unaware of what was going on in my mouth and recovery was straightforward. Eating and exercising was much easier after these procedures. After 5 months of treatment I now have my 2 new teeth and am very pleased with the results. Throughout the whole process Nick, Sofia, Amy and Ellie have been amazing- professional, kind and empathic towards my fears, answering all my questions and explaining things as we went along. Laura has also been brilliant in organising all my appointments and calling me the next day to check I was ok after any procedure. All staff on reception were polite, friendly and welcoming. Implant surgery is a long process and is not without discomfort and pain- or wasn’t for me- but the team and care were brilliant. I did not think I would say this back in July after the initial surgery- but I would do it again! Although not any time soon. Thank you to everyone involved in my care. One of the biggest issues for me was feeling safe and in competent hands - if I was letting someone place metal posts into my jaw bone I wanted someone I trusted and who I knew to be a competent and “attention to detail”surgeon with a good team around them- which is certainly what I got at Woodborough House. It might be more costly than other places but for me the price was worth the feelings of safety and competence.

   First of all a big thank you to the Woodborough house team for all of their care, concern and patience! Having been a patient for many years, I can honestly say that I couldn’t choose a better Dental Practice. Everyone is always friendly, makes you feel valued as a patient and all set within a calming and professional environment. I have just successfully completed a tooth implant and crown replacement and throughout the process have felt well informed, very well looked after and respected. I am very pleased with the final results and can wholeheartedly recommend the Woodborough House Practice and their team.

   I recently visited Woodborough House dental practice and had such a positive experience. The atmosphere was lovely and calming from the moment I walked in. The receptionists were so kind and friendly, which really helped put me at ease. Dr Sophia Puri and her assistants were absolutely wonderful, reassuring, approachable, and very professional. They clearly explained all my options and made sure I understood everything before moving forward. It’s rare to find a dental team that makes you feel so comfortable and cared for.    I had a tricky tooth that specialists in NZ (where I live most of the year) were reluctant to tackle. Knowing I'd be in the UK for some time, I was recommended Nick at Woodbourgh House. Nick and his team, carried out the work without a hitch. I now have an implant that has joined my other teeth like it always belonged! The whole process was carried out with friendly professionalism and ease. Nick's support team of Sophia, Jess and dental nurses we all delightful and I felt in safe hands throughout. Although each appointment was a 3 hour round trip for me, it was absolutely worth it. Very happy and highly recommend.

   Arriving in the UK without a dentist, I was delighted to be so warmly welcomed at Woodborough House. I needed to have a painful tooth removed. I had an initial meeting with Nick, who would be doing the extraction. He advised and explained in appropriate detail what would be involved on the day. Prior to the appointed day, I was provided with documentation about the aftereffects of the sedation and recovery. I am delighted to say that I am well on the way to recovery.    Most professional dentist practice I have come across. I was constantly drifting from one dentist to another due to travelling. Now I am settled in one location. I needed a permanent dentist to care for my teeth. After extensive examination by Hamish, I knew this was the practice for me. Hamish is by far the best dentist I have come across and there is no doubt the rest of the team are of the same calibre. Hamish formulated a treatment plan on what I would like to have achieved and we completed phase one of my restoration today. And the results are superb, so happy, looking forward to getting phase 2 completed soon. Everyone is welcomed with a warm welcoming smile from the front house team. The prices reflect the high standard of work carried out and they are very reasonable. I have and always will say you can't put a price on your health. And your Teeth/gums are the critical part of a complex body. I highly recommend Woodborough House to anyone looking for top class service in the dentistry arena.

   In this time of mediocrity and money saving it is a complete flippin relief and joy to find a dentist that offers outstanding service, excellent professionals and wonderful communication. If I had found this dentist 10 years ago my teeth wouldn't be half as bad! Honestly it's like winning the lottery.    Just wanted to take the time to share our recent visit at Woodborough house and say thank you. Once again your team were amazing with my 6 year old son, from the lovely ladies at reception through to Rupert the dentist and Ruth the dental nurse (and the dentists walking through reception as we were waiting) everyone we saw today was lovely and welcoming. My son hasn’t had the easiest time with his teeth, having numerous visits and treatments over the past year and I’m SO glad we’ve found Rupert and Woodborough to look after him, you’re all amazing. Rupert was very reassuring today as always and we’ve left with a happy boy and me a happy mum! I couldn't recommend Woodborough enough, they've always fitted us in - even on super short notice and given my son outstanding care. Fantastic value for money, and worth travelling for - we travel from 40 mins away purely because of the care and team here. P.S. The superhero idea was a big hit! He loved coming in as Spider-Man today and your team were brilliant in engaging with him.
