I've had some mixed experiences of dentists in the past and that has meant that I find the prospect of the checkup a nerve racking one, but the service here is first rate, friendly, and truly puts you at ease. The dentists are good, but they recommend the hygenist, for which you are made to pay £70 IN ADVANCE for an appointment they then cancel! Real hassle to get your money back after that.
As a nervous patient, I can not reccomended Dentalcare Hook highly enough, especially Harman Dhillon. He takes the time to fully explain what he will do, which helps to settle my nerves. He constantly checks I am OK and reassures me throughout my appointment. Whilst I am never going to like the dentist, Harman Dhillion makes the experience a lot easier and I can honestly say I trust my dentist. The receptionists are always polite and helpful. This is an excellent dental practice.
I had a wonderful experience at Dentalcare Hook. Liz was able to find me a convenient appointment and provided lovely service during my visit. The dentist, Harman was professional and assisted me with all of my concerns. I felt completely at ease and the entire team were welcoming and kind. AVOID! Extremely rude, incompetent staff . I had to cancel my children’s appt as one of them had covid, the second appt was cancelled by the practice as the children’s usual dentist had left. The third appt we were TWO minutes late and was told I have to find a new dentist. My children are autistic, getting them to a dentist is a massive thing. they’re finally comfortable coming and the practice have done this! The manager emailed me to say we cannot make anymore appointments. I explained the reason the first appt was cancelled and explained that the second one they cancelled by them and I’ve never even got the courtesy of a reply.
