A great atmosphere as the rugby was on. Unfortunately it went downhill as two drinks came to approximately £22 and the tables were dirty and soaked, the barman was very friendly and advised us to savour our drinks. On our travels the same drinks at the Waterloo Arms were approximately £6 less with a lovely friendly atmosphere.

We went to The Mailman’s for a carvery today and it was top notch. Choice of 3 meats (we had beef and gammon which were both excellent), crispy roast potatoes and lovely thick gravy. Sat in the garden in the sunshine. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Beautiful pub, so welcoming and cosy. Staff were really friendly and the food was delicious! Unfortunately the burger fell apart as the base of the bun was soggy.

Stopped here while cycling in the forest. Sandwiches were tasty, would be good to have other options but the quality was high. Friendly service and pleasant country pub.

Lovely independent pub. Fully decked out for Halloween, when we went. You get the impression that they are trying to be different to the chains, which I loved. We only had one drink as we had to go but seeing the food come out, I wished we’d stayed for lunch. Next door to the Ferrari garage, who can resist a pint and a drool? This might by me…took me a while to understand the pub’s name. Not sure why. Font style? Punctuation? Blonde moment? Struck me that it took me a moment to know what it was called when I text my wife where I was. Small point. Lovely pub.

Carvery was excellent, hot & plentiful. The the staff were great as well & beer nice too. Didn’t feel crowded in there which was nice and caught some sun outside before lunch. What’s not to like!

Lovely little pub just off Lyndhurst high street. Wonderful staff and dog friendly. I definitely recommend getting some food while you're there because it is fantastic, I've never had a better steak and kidney pie.

Today we took our very special parents for a carvery. As usual never let us down. Choice of meats, delicious veg especially butternut squash mash, roasties, Stuffing and ample of pigs in blankets. Full to the brim and at a great price. Topped of with polite staff. Thank you Mailman arms, worth the 50 min drive every time.

Surprisingly good for a Greene King. Staff are friendly and attentive. Space is limited but they make it work. We had the Sunday roast, which was better than expected.

Really lovely local pub. We were pleasantly surprised at how yummy the food was and there was a specials board with even more options. The staff were really friendly and the table service was prompt. We watched the Englamd game inside and the TV kept cutting out (thankfully not at a critical momemt), the owns think it was reception related but seeing as the TV actually shut off I think it's a TV fault. Overall really nice experience and would recommend this lively pub to all.
