   Just back from a lovely Christmas lunch here today. Table was decorated for us on arrival . The food was well presented , very tasty and good sized portions. We come here about every 2 months for a meet up and always get a warm welcome. Highly recommend.

   Always an excellent night at the new Inn. Fantastic owners who always make us feel welcome. Treats everyone fairly and firmly. I witnessed the abuse she received from a young guy last night and in all honestly, I wouldn’t have been as calm as her. If that was my son, I would have been so embarrassed. To talk to a female they way they did and to threaten violence. Disgusting behaviour, they wouldn’t have spoken to a male like that. Bully behaviour. On the good side, it’s an all round great pub! And the quizzes are always a good crack too

   Visited early this afternoon for a lunch date with my husband, we were both very impressed with our visit and would return in future. We both had a starter and a main, portion sizes were generous and the food itself was delicious. The pub was very quiet for a Saturday afternoon but it was nice and quiet, although we did feel sorry for the lady behind the bar who was not only serving behind the bar but also taking food orders and waiting on tables - she did a fab job despite being swept off her feet. We were going to indulge in a pudding however chose not to as there wasn’t a vegetarian ice-cream dessert option (only a rocky road sundae, not veggie), so would love to see a vegetarian ice cream option in the future. Would love to bring our daughter another time to try the kids menu. Looking forward to another visit and would recommend to others for a meal out!

   Always great. It's my local. I walk past another pub just to come here. Good atmosphere, welcoming owner/staff. Great clientele. Good prices. Serves a good variety of food too which is not just great portion size but delicious also.

   Only there for a darts and dominoes match. A clean and friendly place that does meals. Would not have been many in if not for the darts and doms. Would seriously consider trying again for a meal to see what they are like and the prices.

   Very good pub/restaurant. Top class management observant of every detail providing good food and Marstons beer in perfect condition. Friendly and welcoming locals - not nosey, just wanting to get to know you. Hosting a relaxed inclusive quiz on Sunday nights.

   Really friendly welcome from the new owners. Service prompt too. Great choice of food on the menu, as well as specials. We had a light lunch, which was both delicious and reasonably priced which is appreciated in these times.
