Had an excellent PROPER HOMEMADE Shepherds Pie here last week. Lovely vegetables and gravy boat, and less than eleven quid. Beer, as always, was excellent too. I can't visit often, but it's always a real treat. Many thanks

Fantastic find when looking for a pub nearby hotel. Very good selection of beers. Catering for craft beer drinkers, real ale fans and even those who want a premium lager. Very well priced and good service.

Didn't try the food but what a fantastic pub. Superb architecturally, the ale in perfect condition and great range including their brewery output. A myriad of different rooms for all comforts.can't recommend highly enough especially for the discerning drinker or otherwise.

Been going to this local pub for over 20 years, Good range of flat ciders upto 16. Had 8 when I visited. Also their cheesy chip butties are amazing. Its a very well known real ale pub and a must visit if your in the area.

What a fantastic real ale pub with a great selection of beers, with a variety brewed on site, and all at a very reasonable price particularly if you’ve got a CAMRA membership. Tried several beers all of which were very tasty and exceptionally well kept. The pub has a traditional feel with several different rooms, and railway associated memorabilia. Staff were very welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Food is available although I only managed the delicious Cheese and Onion Cob. Well worth a visit and handy for both the railway and bus stations.

Fantastic atmospheric place with a large range of speciality beers & ales you'd struggle to find elsewhere. Very friendly & helpful barman who gave us an excellent run-down of what was on tap. The pint of stout I had (Black Sabbath, 6%) was absolutely lush

I have been to the Brunswick Inn a few times in the last five years during visits to Derby. Always a great choice of Ales. However, this was the first time of eating there. I had the beef and cheeseburger with bacon and double cooked chips. Freshly prepared, enjoyed this meal. They serve a range of 'Pub Grub' selected days only. Really pleased to have eaten here for a change.

Excellent old pub. Great beer that is brewed on site and a nice selection of ciders. Lots of different rooms / places to drink inside which adds to that cozy feeling. Very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend a visit. Also works well if your looking for a quick pint in between trains.

Visiting the area due to watching motorsport down at Donnington Park. Visited this bar as it was a quick walk from our hotel at pride park. Great selection of beers and ciders; really friendly staff, all in all a great little pub! Food was excellent too!
