   Quick pitstop after seeing so many positive comments and reviews plus award winning pub. Lovely atmosphere. Chilled music. Excellent selection of beers and real ales. Didn't eat but the menu looks excellent and very reasonably priced. Their chip wrecked dirty fries at only a fiver looked incredibly appetizing and great value. We'll be back for food next time!

   Popped in here for a quick drink on the way to the cricket ground. The smell of home cooked food when we walked in was heavenly. The staff were lovely and very helpful when trying to decide on a drink to have, and the food was absolutely outstanding!! We were recommended this place by some locals who we spoke to and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good meal with brilliant service.

   Been recently and had to return for another excellent Sunday roast with friendly efficient service from all the staff creating a great atmosphere in this lovely quirky pub. Second time here and the remembered by Lel as soon as we came in. Great pub, great food & welcomes dogs and their humans. Shout out to Lel & Joe for great service.

   A great quirky multi-roomed pub that is now owned by Dancing Duck Brewery and sells their superb cask beers. The food is also excellent quality (picture shows the Derbyshire Tapas) if a little pricey (the meal in the picture was £15). Highly recommended.

   Second visit to this fantastic pub/restaurant. Onion soup this time and like the minestrone it was exceptional. I followed this up with the kebab main. Really recommend this place and I can't wait to visit again. Friend had a prawn starter followed by pies. He agreed the food and service was fantastic.
