A converted victorian house !! Has two rooms and a "Garden area" nice atmosphere ! Does bar food and pies/cobs as well as a mix cheese bowl ! Always been quiet when i go there (saturdays 12:00~15:00ish)
What a gem of a place! Such friendly staff and great selection of beers available! Highly recommend for a cosy friendly drink.
This micro pub is actually quite big as there are two rooms and a covered outside bit as well as the beer garden. Its located in a Victorian house which has bare brick walls and lots of original features such as the Minton tiles in the hallway entrance. This is a real ale pub and they also do proper cider, Really nice to see a Thundering Molly cider by Celtic Marches. Its an awesome little pub, I visited on a very frosty day and it was nice and cosy in the main bar as they have a proper fire in there. The owner and staff were super friendly and chatty. The toilet was nice and clean and modern. If your coming here via bus from Derby city centre then catch the Allestree (Trentbarton) from outside the Council house on Corporation street and get off outside the Jonty Farmer. I really enjoyed my visit to this pub and very much look forward to coming again. I would highly recommend this pub. I have added lots of photographs and also surveyed it for Google Streetview. Andy
Lovely warm atmosphere and a friendly welcome at this dog friendly pub. Just like sitting in your front room but where they happen to serve alcohol! Well worth a visit.
Great little pub with good range of local brews, wines and spirits. Has couple of rooms with different table sizes and types of seating. Also has outdoor area, part covered where they have live music occasionally. Great to have this as a local.
A cracking micropub that is friendly, cosy and has a good range of ales. Dog friendly with a friendly atmosphere. A converted large Victorian house at the end of Kedleston Road, enjoy. M
