   Had a lovely meal on Saturday evening. I had streak and ale pie and my partner had a burger. We didn’t have to wait long. The person who served us at the bar was lovely and the waiting staff checked in to make sure we were happy. The pub had a good atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

   Nipped in for some food on Saturday and although the tables were booked out for live entertainment that evening the staff were great and managed to accommodate me and my family. Everybody was very friendly and the food was better than I imagined. I had the hunters chicken and was more than satisfied! The atmosphere in the pub was really nice too, they were playing sports but it was very well managed and wasn’t too rowdy for those who were enjoying their meal. Price is good, food is lovely, the staff are all very friendly and my overall experience was 10/10. Will definitely be returning.

   We went for Christmas do table was set very nice. And the lady who served us was very good could not do enough for us.food turned up in a timely manner parwn cocktails was nice. (I like a classic )the wife said her turkey dinner was rely good not dry and plentiful and lots of gravy I had the salmon which was flaky mash was butterfly vegetable was not over cooked had a nice little crunch the only thing missing was the sauce. But that did not spoil the night thank you for a good night.

   The pub was brilliant, absolutely loved it. They show sky sports plus so we can watch the derby games. Great student deals, 20% off and a welcoming pub is just what a student needs after a hard day. The food is brill, great menu; everything you could want and at a great price and amazing quality. Pubs like this keep the industry running

   My food was delicious I had the ultimate veggie burger and it was really good! Me and my friend are both vegetarians and our food was brilliant. My parter had a chicken burger which he said was great and my friends partner had the loaded fries. We also had a side of bbq cauliflower wings which were delicious!! Also the staff were all really friendly and helpful.

   Incredibly friendly and very welcoming staff. The food was excellent as was the service. There was sport on the TV there but not loud enough to impinge on any conversation. Would definitely go back here! Menu choices are very good,

   It's ok to be honest, not normally a place I'd visit and I probably won't go again unless I need to attend a function/party etc; however, that's not a reflection on the pub, it's just not my kind of place. We didn't eat; however, the food smelt and looked pretty nice, the staff were all friendly, polite and helpful, which is always a good thing. The beer was disappointingly average, having said that it's a Marston's pub so it was never going to be able to compete with Derby's best. Overall it's actually pretty decent, just not really the type of place I'd visit.

   We went today for dinner, was reasonable priced, £70 for 6 of us (2 kids and 4 adults) inc. Round of drinks. Only thing we was disappointed about was the hour wait for food. When we booked was told could be upto 30 mins, but 60 mins when you have 2 kids seems to take a long time. The Sunday roasts were beautiful, could prob do with more BBQ sauce on the Hunters Chicken
