   Been meaning to come to this micro pub for a long time and finally made it. This is a real ale pub and they do proper cider too. Very Quirky decor such as large lichtenberg wood burning panels, electrical/electronic equipment and Tesla coil photography. Plenty of seating This pub is part of the eight branches winter ale festival at the moment. Easy to get to via the Allestree bus from derby city centre I would recommend this pub.

   The Pot Hole is a lovely little find, with a wide range of real ale and some craft lagers and cider too (available to take away). A steampunk theme throughout with lots of great artefacts and a cosey snug area for more private affairs. Service is great and the new owner seems really nice and friendly! The pub is pet friendly too! Would highly recommend, there is something for everyone!!

   Changed hands recently miss the previous owners but its in safe hands. Fantastic choice of drinks, great choice of real ales and real ciders, great range with lovely spirits too The owner is doing a great job in spite of the pandemic hitting at their start, refreshing steam punk theme on the inside, great seats outside for the periods of nice weather. Doing a great job of track and trace, 2m social distancing and washing hands protocol. Will definitely be back again for some more lovely drinks
