   Good burgers and good booze. Took a long time to be served although the place was empty, seemed to only have one person on the bar. Bonus for having wireless charging points on thee table though!

   Pretty poor show yesterday !! Went to watch the tennis and it seemed a chore for them to put it on for us. The place was empty and the atmosphere not great. The staff looked as though they didn’t want to be there. Service slow and with no smile. Ordered burgers and they were served with burnt chips. These were returned - burger was pretty poor too and it wasn’t cheap !! Pretty disappointing.

   Visited Sunday the 19th February, what a beautiful building. Kept clean and pleasant by the staff. Big thanks goes to Anna on a brilliant customer service and sharing her wisdom of Derby.

   Stopped into the friary for a drink and to watch the six nations, was greeted by Charlie who gave a great customer service and helped us as best as she could! Always had a great smile! Definitely recommend!

   I went there with a friend in July to drink some pints and play pool, and I really loved it! However, we had a problem with a waitress after having told her that we were going to change to another table in the garden because it was a bit cold outside. Even then, we really enjoyed our hamburguer!

   The staff are more than helpful and happy to help is cheap and cheerful and value for money can't go wrong. Decent selection of booze but no bitters which makes it a no no for me. good Pub on a night out if you want to have a good time
