   I had such a wonderful experience at Woodpecker! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The quality of food and drinks is top-notch — everything tasted fresh and beautifully presented. You can really tell they put a lot of love and care into what they do. Definitely one of my favorite places to relax and enjoy good company. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great vibes and great service!

   Use to come here for curry quite a few times as it was very reasonable, food use to be fantastic, service use to be good, gone down in my eyes, service was crap, curry was ok, chips were like bullets, and starting to charge restaurant prices, in a pub where you’ve got customers swearing there heads off next to you, be the last time I come here I’m afraid, if I wanted to start paying them prices Id go to a proper restaurant, shame really when people get greedy, you started having a great reputation for great food and reasonable prices

   Visited on a Saturday afternoon. A traditional pub serving Indian and British food. Was quite busy but had a good atmosphere about, with sky sports on the TVs and a pool table. Menu has a small but decent selection of food which was on our table in about 10 min. Had a regular mixed grill with salt and pepper chips, dipping sauce and naan bread. Portion size is unbelievable and is plenty to fill empty tums, so make sure you're hungry. The pub is clean with a decent selection of ales and lagers located just outside the city centre. Decent price for what we ordered. We didn't need to book a table in advance but may need to on a Sunday afternoon. Overall highly recommended.

   Such a cosy pub with the addition of proper homemade curries! The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The curries are honestly incredible! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable meal out!
