   We played darts upstairs and was content to carry our drinks all the way up the stairs. Then the end of the bar was blocked off totally by people playing cards and we had to take our drinks outside and then back inside to get upstairs. At one time there was a gap between the chairs and I managed to walk through, only to be told off by the barman. He said that he didn’t want the card players to be disturbed. It was a long way to carry the drinks but he made it worse by adding a detour. The end of the room should not be blocked off because of a game of cards. No signage was put up and the barman assumed that all visitors knew the building as well as he did. Are us game players ranked, and card players come before dart players? Later on we were all entertained by a mouse running around behind the bar and the barman was acting as though it was his pet.

   We went for an engagement party in the first floor room, the venue DJ and staff were all excellent, Shots and Beer were also reasonably priced. 6 shots for £10 amazing deal. The downstairs is also Dog friendly which is always good.

   Amazing staff! A good selection of larger & cider. No crafts or ipa's but Gina, Sam & Jamie make up for it. Happily spend alot of time here, for the company over the beer.p

   Went to a 21st birthday party here. The upstairs function room is nice, although not huge. Sort of an "L" shape with the bar and dancefloor being as you first walk up the stairs and the seating area in the longer, thinner section. I think there were around 50 people and that felt like capacity. Would consider it for a party, but would depend on the amount of guests.
