    Came in for a quiet pint on a Tuesday and a catchup with a friend and there was a quiz occupying much of the bar space. The quiz was ran by two men who could barely read the questions. Clearly this quiz was ran for regulars but it made our conversation difficult to have because of the volume and it made service slow due to the business of the establishment. Staff were polite but would not recommend going in on a Tuesday night unless you want to be pressured in to joining a quiz that is very Unprofessionally done

    Great pub with an excellent choice of well kept real ales. The guest beers are changed regularly. Friendly smiling staff who make you feel welcome. Proper drinking pub, not many around now.

    A good pub with some good pints on offer. Nice and clean with decent toilets. Ceiling was ridiculously low in parts though.
