Needed a new headlight bulb whilst away at Derby for a few days. Went into the shop and, even though there were a lot of people in the queue, the wonderful crew there soon got it sorted and I was on my way home. Purchased this item based on the Michelin brand and its reliability. I have had to return this item after 6 months use and ask for a refund. The main problem with this product was the battery of the inflator went flat after topping up two tyres. This meant that I had to recharge it before topping up the other two tyres. I have now purchased a 12V Michelin tyre inflator. At least I can rely on my car battery to power the inflator for all 4 tyres.I would not recommend, especially at that high price point
Went to get headlight bulb changed, was seen to straight away. Was given options of just one bulb or replace both with brighter bulbs and they come with 1 year warranty, so if they go, they'll be replaced free and at any Halfords store that offers the fitting service. So for £25 I thought it was a good deal.
I would just like to say a big thank you to Steve and Matt on the bike desk for your kind a helpful service today. After visiting another store earlier in the day and being let down you two (Steve especially) provided the best service to ensure my son got to go on a bike ride this afternoon. Your honesty and advice made me not have to pay out as much as I thought and you did what was necessary, squeezing us in and doing the repair while we waited despite having lots of other work to do. It was obvious you were both very busy and I really appreciate that you did that for us today. Never will I go to any other store. Working in customer services myself, I know how much it means to customers when you go above and beyond and that’s what you did today, so thank you, from me and my son.

Not the best, as always, but at least they had the thing I needed. Claimed my blue light card crashed their till system so didn't get my discount and the cashier clearly couldn't be bothered to ask her manager to assist. As usual the queue was so long I decided it wasn't worth the wait to ask to see the manager either. Never great experience at the Wyvern store to be honest but at least they had the item in stock. If you want to know why the high street is losing out to online stores go to Derby Halfords and it will become very clear.
Went in for new window wipers and was very impressed by the high level of attention and helpfulness by the staff. Jacob was excellent, spending time with me working out what product was right for my car and even collecting the other wiper blade from my car in the car park to make sure he got it right and then replaced it before I drove away….all while I kept warm in the shop! Great product but the guy at the checkout was more interested in what his colleagues were up too. It took over 10 mins of waiting to see if they had the seat in stock. He let me purchase the car seat and my husband take it to the car before declaring I had to sign a form to say I had brought the correct seat. I hadn’t got all the information required and he just said sign it. Not really what I was expecting from Halfords for saying they’re meant to be experts in car seats. There was no offer of fitting and checking it was correct
Halfords have a varied selection of goods, I can imagine that they stock almost everything needed for car maintenance etc. Everything was well marked out with good signage, making everything easy to find. Prices are reasonable & the staff were very helpful & friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Superb service when ordering a new electric bike. My e scooter recently broke down, and due to poor aftersales care from online scooter shops, I decided on a pedal assist bike from Halfords following watching several online reviews. Bike is due to arrive in store on Saturday and will be built and ready to ride home, very professional service, talked me through all the delivery and build options, and the aftercare services. Haven't even got the bike yet and already know Halfords will take good care of the whole process, can't fault them one bit. Very personal, friendly service in store, no pushy sales, plenty of time to think and discuss. Big shout out to Keiran who served us as well, really great guy. Thank you!.
