Have eaten in here two nights running. The Staff were friendly and efficient and the food was very good. Great value too. Lovely atmosphere with lots of locals. I highly recommend this establishment.

Dogs OK outside but not inside, there are plenty of tables outside if the weather is fine, although only a couple of covered ones in the smoking area outside. There are dog water bowls available to fill as required from a water barrel outside. Food was fine and service was quick and friendly. Price was OK although slightly high for a simple sandwich lunch.

Stumbled across this in the middle of a spontaneous walk. Popped in for some pints and lunch and would certainly recommend. Prices are very reasonable for todays economic environment. But this wasn't at the detriment of quality. All the food we had was great. Again refreshing to see traditional boozers serving great meals at decent prices. Thank you.

Last night of a long weekend break and decided to go to this pub, the food selection was very good, it was all served piping hot, the vegetables were fresh and cooked just right, the food was delicious, this is the best pub meal we have had in ages, and at a very reasonable price.

Stopped for lunch whilst doing a walk round Shirley. I heard staff tell other people that they don't take bookings but there is a bar room with a few tables and a family room with more, larger tables so plenty of space. Been in the summer and sat in the garden before which is lovely, this time of year the real fire is on and it was toasty and warm sat next to it. We ordered 2 turkey baguettes off the specials board, 3 toasties and a bowl of chips to share. Just what we needed for a 1 hour stop and lunch. Friendly staff, as always and good value for money. Also had 5 drinks (1 pint and 4 soft bottled drinks), in total it came to £43.

We love this pub. Lovely setting and staff. Meals are reliable, tasty and fairly priced. Sitting in the garden to eat is a treat during a summer evening and the bar and dining area are cosy during colder weather.

Popped in for a quick drink. Good selection of alcohol and non alcoholic drinks and really friendly staff! Made to feel really welcome and will return. Food looked lovely and puddings even better! Our return will definitely include food!

Really nice pub. We had drinks and meals served piping hot and they were lovely. We sat outside and the garden was well kept with nice surroundings in the quiet village of Osmaston. Staff were excellent under busy covid times. Just went inside to pay but all looked clean. Prices were really good and good food as well. Would definitely recommend. Dogs OK in garden but not sure about inside as we were outside. Good choice of beers and food dishes.

We had a lovely unexpected stop for lunch here today. The food was lovely and the staff were really friendly and helpful placing us in the garden out of sight for our reactive dog. We will definitely be back. Thank you
