Lovely little pub, well worth the trip, I will make a point of visiting for a meal, didn't have time on this trip unfortunately. Cosy and friendly, situated in a lovely part of the County.

Another great meal at The Holly Bush! We had the pulled beef pie and sausage and mash (a must! This pub is known for their homemade sausages for a reason!) Friendly service, great selection of beers and delicious food- we’ll be back
Went in for a lunch wanting a simple meal, staff were lovely, food was delicious. Prawns were cooked to perfection!!
Had a wonderful anniversary meal at this very quiet hidden pub. Would highly recommend if you’re near the Peak District area. I would recommend the sausages that they been making themselves since 2009. The chef clearly understands flavours as well, as can be seen through the bao buns we ordered for starters. Service was spot on and they were friendly and welcoming staff.

Food was very nice and the ale went down well. Considering it was mid week there were plenty of people and the service was quick.
Delicious home cooked meals at reasonable prices. Also lovely gluten free options including apple pie! Lovely atmospheric country pub feel with great staff. Would recommend and will definitely be eating there again!
Great country pub. Went their first Sunday lunch. Food and service was excellent. Had the Pork roast which was delicious and the roasties were amazing. Treacle pudding was light fluffy and tasty. Decent pint of Guinness too which was creamy with strong coffee overtones and a hint of chocolate. Just a shame about noisy children but that’s not the pub’s fault. Would definitely go again
We sat in the bar area with a drink on arrival, our order was taken whilst enjoying the drinks. We were taken through after about 20 minutes. We ordered a bottle of Semillion to go with the food and water was brought to the table, only cristism would be make sure the glasses are cold!! The food was hot, nice big portions and very tasty. Our waitress Lydia was very nice and helpful.
