We came into the restaurant at 1pm and it was very very busy. I believed that they were short-staffed that’s why the service is not as great as it usually is. We ordered lunch meal deal. The soft drinks are probably from a bottle so it is not as fizzy. The amount of ice is pathetic: two for each glass. The food comes in around 10-15minutes. The taste is okay I’ll give it 7/10 (beef brisket American waffle). I appreciate the aesthetic plating of the food they serve. Unfortunately, the waffle itself is cold and not crunchy. I’m expecting a homemade waffle but clearly they use a store bought waffle without toasting it. What a shame! My friends ordered a chicken burger and a beef brisket mac and cheese. The burger is a bit small and the mac and cheese is okay. We do love the FRIES!!! It is a must-eat item because it’s so thick yet crunchy even it gets cold when we finish the main. We asked for ketchup but the server probably is too busy to deal with the other customers. All in all, i think this restaurant does worth another visit but maybe I’ll go for the dessert and cocktails or coffees instead of their savoury mains.

It's not my first time in this restaurant so I can definitely say that the food here is always sooo delicious and fresh and absolutely beautiful! This time I had a french toast with Dubai chocolate filling and it was stunning (thank you, chef!). The waitress Maria is lovely and very attentive to customers, makes beautiful coffee and, I'm sure, other beautiful drinks too. I've met the owner as well, he's very kind and always makes sure that the service is the best for his customers. Definitely will come back! ❤️

Amazing experience. Went into town for some last minute shopping and stumbled across suma. Probably one of the most delicious and aesthetically pleasing cafes I have ever been in. Service was outstanding, no flaws and was well kept throughout our meal. Tried the chicken pancakes & brisket pancakes and these were to die for!!!! What was even better is that they did a meal deal, therefore included fries and a cold drink for such a good price. Recommend fully.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently hosted my friend’s bridal shower at Suma Cafe Restaurant and Cocktail Bar, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! Atmosphere:The decor is a perfect mix of chic and cozy, with a warm and welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home. Food: Every dish was a hit, especially the chicken burgers and cheesecake, which was absolutely divine. The food was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Cocktails:The cocktails were a highlight—each one was expertly crafted and delicious. The signature Suma blue sunset is a must-try! Service:The staff was incredible, going above and beyond to make our celebration special. They were attentive, friendly, and truly made the night memorable. Suma Cafe is the perfect place for any special occasion especially bridal showers or a great night out. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back!

This gem of a café at the heart of Aberdeen offers amazing food and coffees. Other hot and cold drinks too, but the coffee is my personal favourite. The menu is varied with unique savoury and sweet dishes, served looking like a word of art, and the portions are very generous. Just a hop and a skip from Union Square and the train station it’s worth a visit when you are out shopping or waiting for a train. Or if you just fancy some really lovely food. The interior is exotic and comfortable too and the staff is well trained and always polite and helpful.

Suma has definitely earned its #aberdeensinstagrammablecafe but it’s not just all about the stunning aesthetic, the food is beyond expectations. I’m the fussiest, pickiest eater and there’s more than enough on the menu for me to choose from, and I keep going back to try more. Staff are attentive without being a nuisance, service is always with a smile. Can’t recommend Suma highly enough, for brunch, lunch, whatever we are calling mid and late afternoon eats, or even just a coffee that puts Costa and Starbies to shame.

Lovely cafe with a great interior design. The furniture was also quite nice, and the Mocha was lovely also. Inside the cafe, the radio (Northsound 1) is played, which blasts the news which can be quite loud. I think it might be better to have some chill lofi style playing, it helps to relax and not intrude into conversation. I think the place would benefit from a menu to be displayed behind the bar. Cool vibes from the place, and a nice haven from the busy streets of Aberdeen. Great job! I look forward to bringing my friends here.
