   Visited the salon today to get shellac nails, was told 20 min wait when sitting down. Nearly 2 hours later I still wasn’t seen. Whilst I understand it’s a busy time of year - 2 hours should have been communicated when I first walked in. I had my son with me so definitely wouldn’t have stayed knowing this. I was finally sat down on the end table - nothing was set up, it was like a work desk. The man doing my nails sat straight down after doing a pedicure, bringing all the equipment with him that he’d just used to do someone’s toes, he also didn’t wash his hands. When questioned I was told it had been wiped (I still didn’t feel comfortable with this however I’d waited so long I just wanted to get out of there) he took 10 mins and completed the worst job I’ve ever seen. He rushed the whole thing, constantly reminding me how busy it was. I was left with paint on my skin, paint not down to the cuticles and lifting on the side of my nail. £32 for something I could have done at home. Disgusting salon with awful hygiene practices. I will be reporting this.

   This is the most exceptional nail service I’ve ever had. It’s easy and accessible only being 7 minutes away from the train station, with a welcoming staff and very reasonably priced. With the reasonable price along comes with brilliant service which is fast and good quality. The hygiene is spiffing with cleanly products and brushes and wiped down surfaces to make the experience better for the customer. The staff are all so friendly and willing to either or try out something new or just go back to your usual. Highly recommend for any design be it complex or simple it will turn out the way you want. 5 stars.

   I have been coming to Flamingo for over 3 years now and won’t go anywhere else! They know their stuff! They can handle all my nail art requests, as well as more neutral nails, and always with a smile. I also love that I can book online. You may have to wait sometimes, but thats the nature of a busy salon!

They take the time to listen, offer great suggestions, and go the extra mile to make sure you leave happy. My nails turned out flawless and the whole experience was relaxing and enjoyable.    I came here for the first time a few days ago wanting a nail design and was a bit nervous as many nail salons struggle with particular designs however they did not disappoint! The design came out exactly how I imagined for very cheap, with great customer service. I loved that although I came in for infills, also missing 3 nails, and wanting nail art, I was still only in the salon for only an hour. I will most definitely be coming back here again, really recommend coming :)

   I am writing about my daughters experience or should I say experiences. On the last two occasions her acrylics or gels ( not sure which they are) have not been good. She won’t be returning. Last time they were as sharp as razors, this time they look grubby, too thick and some smudging and shape not good. She has showed them to friends who are not impressed. Real shame as she had two good experiences there prior to this. I feel sad for her spending her hard earned cash and now going to pay to have them removed. Further to the reply from Flamingos to this post. I am sorry I have no desire to damage your business. After the first occasion I didn’t post a review I phoned up explaining that the nails, flat ended were as sharp as glass, shredded paper and fell off. The manager kindly phoned me back. You did say that you guarantee the nails and she should have come back but I explained there wasn’t time in her week. I explained to that because of previous positive experiences she wanted to book again and you said you would offer a £5 credit on her account, kindly accepted. When I spoke to you I said my daughter was quiet and would not complain…if you think these nails look good both in colour and shape then we have done you a disservice and I apologise but suffice to say three have already fallen off and friends have commented on the thickness of the nails, one pointing upwards, one smudged and the darkness around the nail bed. I will say again that prior to this she has had two, maybe more positive experiences and I will also say that she has very short nails which I am sure are not the easiest to do.
