Definitely worth checking out! Extremely nice staff. Dog friendly location right by the North Sea. What more could you ask for?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a lovely experience at Café Noir Coffee House in Stonehaven. We were there on Tuesday 22nd April during the Easter holidays, visiting from North Wales. The waitress and the proprietor were absolutely fantastic — so warm and friendly, chatting with us and the kids, which gave the whole place a really welcoming, homely feel. The galettes were magnifique — freshly cooked, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. You can tell everything is made with care. The coffee was top-notch too. A real gem of a place — we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious food with a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The staff were lovely and friendly, making us feel right at home. While the seating area is small, there were a few tables available when we visited, and the service was quick and efficient. The menu focuses on crepes and sandwiches, and we opted for a savoury buckwheat galette—so fresh and flavourful. We also tried the Valentine’s Day special, a red velvet crepe with chocolate cream and fresh raspberries—it was indulgent yet perfectly balanced. The girl working there was especially kind and chatty, adding to the charm of the place. They’re also dog-friendly, which is a great bonus! The coffee was excellent, and the whole café had a cozy, inviting feel. If I lived in Stonehaven, I’d be here at least once a week!

I had the special which was piri piri smoked mackerel galette. It was beautifully balanced with all the flavours working in concert. Had the feeling of being transported out of Aberdeen. Was lovely in size and demeanour. The owner spared us time as we sat and ate, making sure to joke around with us. Would recommend!

Lovely new addition to Stonehaven. Friendly service and a nice selection of galettes (savoury) and crepes (sweet) along with pastries, filled rolls and hot drinks. We had the smoked salmon galette - rich but tasty, with French cheese, smoked salmon, herbs and spinach. As well we had a fraise & Nutella crepe and some lovely berry tea and a good flat white. Friendly and welcoming service and a congenital atmosphere in the cosy space. We'll be back!

We went in for a filled roll and Coffee for brunch. The food didn't take too long to come and was delicious, the Coffee was the best we'd had in a long time and the staff were helpful and friendly. The menu is varied and different from other places we've tried and we'll definitely go back.
