   This was the worst haircut experience of my life. I was visiting Reading, and since my hair was getting too long, I randomly chose a barbershop on the street. The moment I walked in, I was hit by an overwhelming smell. Out of politeness, I didn’t leave and decided to sit down for a haircut. Little did I know, this was just the beginning of a nightmare. I asked for a skin fade, which normally takes around 20 minutes. However, this “professional” barber took more than 40 minutes. Not because he was being careful or detailed, but because another customer walked in, and he spent half an hour chatting loudly with him while cutting my hair. At times, he even stopped cutting me entirely just to continue his conversation! It was a hot day, the shop was stuffy, and I’m quite sure the unpleasant smell was body odor. The worst part was his attitude. About 20 minutes in, I politely mentioned that I wanted the top a bit shorter. Instead of acknowledging politely, he snapped at me and said: “I know! I know! Can’t you just give me some time?” Excuse me?? Was that really necessary? After that, the remaining 20 minutes felt like he was trying to twist my head off. I honestly don’t understand what I did wrong to deserve that kind of treatment. Later, I checked other reviews and saw that I’m not the only one who experienced the same rude attitude. This was truly the most “unique” haircut I’ve ever had—but for all the wrong reasons. If you are in Reading, please think twice before coming here.

   £17 skin fade, I don't recommend it, coz there is no fade at all, and the basic skill for barber is to make parietal ridge, which he didn't do it. And the service blew my mind, I tried to take back my glasses in front of me, and he said "don't do it, I ain't finish yet", I said "no worries, I understand that", and he blamed me "I am not worried, u worried". My gosh, I didn't do anything wrong. The barber seems get angry v easily. All I could do was to keep smiling and thumb up in order to avoid any trouble. But in terms of price and quality, I don't recommend it..

   Amazing barbers, who provide amazing service for really cheap price (compared to other barbershops in town or anywhere really). If you are looking to save up a bit and are also looking for a great haircut, this is the place my friends. Ali(the owner) is also very friendly, polite and humble, so are the other staff members. I have only had good experience with them. This a place you must try, if you are not sure about where to go for a haircut(like I was).

   I have been a customer of Top Barbers for six or seven years now. The staff are friendly and professional. They always ask what I want done and they are particularly careful to get it right. They have special rates for OAPs Monday to Thursday. Will definitely recommend these barbers.
