I recently had a terrible experience at Raynesway Service Centre that I feel compelled to share. I brought my motorbike in for some routine maintenance, but what should have been a straightforward visit turned into a deeply unsettling encounter. From the moment I stepped into the garage, I noticed an uncomfortable atmosphere. The staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than helping customers, and I felt completely dismissed. I tried to explain the issues I was having with my bike, but it seemed like my concerns were falling on deaf ears. As I continued to talk about my bike, I noticed a significant change in the staff's demeanor when they realized I wasn't part of the demographic they typically serve. Their comments quickly veered into loaded territory, filled with stereotypes and inappropriate remarks. It was clear they had preconceived notions about me based on my appearance, which made the entire exchange incredibly uncomfortable. It’s disheartening to encounter such blatant racism in a place where you expect professionalism and passion for the craft. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt marginalized and disrespected. Suffice to say, I left Raynesway Service Centre feeling not just insulted, but also unheard. I would not recommend Raynesway Service Centre to anyone who values respect and equality. There are plenty of garages out there that treat all customers with the dignity they deserve. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to take your bike.
Chris changed his day to accommodate doing my MOT earlier as I was coming off a Night shift. What a nice fella. Professional, efficient, polite and knowledgeable. What more would you want from Service Centre?
Excellent friendly service. As a first time customer Chris managed to fit my motorbike in on the day that I called for an MOT that had expired. More than could be expected.
First visit to Chris today as my usual centre was fully booked. Had a great experience from the original phone contact to the service during the MOT today. Would certainly recommend without hesitation.

My car had failed its MOT and I couldn’t find a garage that could do it for over a week. Due to some personal circumstances I needed the car fixing as soon as possible. After a google search I found Raynesway Service Centre and gave them a call. Chris was so helpful, I dropped my car off straight away and it was fixed and MOT’d by the close of business. Great price and excellent service, I can’t recommend them enough. I’ll be returning with another job I need doing in a couple of weeks. So pleased I found this place
Coil spring broke, this business is the best garage in Derby! They are so polite and friendly, they always go above and beyond every single time I've phoned them in a panic about my car. Really nice bloke runs this place, got me in at very short notice and was very accommodating. They only take cash only, but that's not the end of the world, certainly for an MOT payment. Would definitely recommend and use again.
