Absolutely amazing service at Cathedral Autocentre. Booked our car in for a routine service, unfortunately the service brought up a leaking turbo which needed an immediate replacement and could not be driven due to the danger it posed. Dave was more than accommodating for all our needs and couldn't do more to help us. For the ordering of parts and replacement of the turbo, we would of been without our car for more than a week, but Dave went above and beyond, not only did he loan us a courtesy car so we wasn't without a car but then called the same evening to state he had found the parts in Nottingham and got one of his lads to drive to pick them up and it would be ready the following day....Absolutely amazing service. True to his word, Dave called the following day, the car was all sorted and repaired. He explained and showed us everything that needed to be done and that had been done in great detail so we were well informed with everything. Couldn't ask for a better service and are so grateful for all he did. Thankyou, will definitely be returning to Cathedral Autocentre!

A fantastic experience On Tuesday 21st October my car broke down on Cathedral Road junction just outside the Cathedral Autocentre. The situation looked a bit terminal, as there was smoke coming out of the bonnet and rear of my car. I switched the engine off and opened the bonnet to see if I could find what the cause was. As I was looking Dave appeared and asked if I needed help, I accepted. Dave found that the bottom radiator hose had burst which caused the cloud of smoke/steam. Dave told me to leave it with him and he would repair it. So I drove the car onto his forcourt. Dave did explain that there could be serious damage but would first have to have a look. I phoned Dave the next day, expecting a disastrous diagnosis and a huge bill. Bit to my suprise it was only the thermostat housing and radiator hose that required replacing and it was at a very reasonable cost. When I collected the car Dave gave me a thorough debrief on the repairs and asked me to keep an eye on the coolant level, and said if there were any further issue to bring it back. I can't thank Dave and his team at Cathedral Autocentre enough for their expertise and willingness to help. A week later Dave contacted me to see if everything was okay with the vehicle, which I thought was very thoughtful and a testimony of their customer service.

Fantastic garage! Been here a couple of times since moving to the area and the services provided, I couldnβt ask for more. The mechanics explain in full detail and provide WhatsApp videos of the car and issue there and then which is brilliant. Great advice on next step actions! Would highly recommend.

I booked a service and a MOT online. When I arrived at the garage due to an admin error the garage wasn't expecting me. Despite this, they managed to take my car and fit it in. While the car was there, I got a call where the mechanic explained what repairs were needed and how much it would cost. Everything was explained to me clearly. I got a call the following day and when I came to collect the car I got further advice on what repairs the mechanic recommended in the near future and provided me with a cost estimate. The whole process was smooth and quick and I was kept informed throughout. I am very pleased with the service and would recommend this garage.

Overall great experience, Dave managed to get me booked in same day, and was a very speedy turn around. Although initially estimating 3 day to fix the issue, they managed to get my car back to me within 2 days which I very much appreciated as I needed the car for work. The team were very professional, reliable and communicable and I would definitely recommend them!

I would rate this garage 100% I haven't been before but will be from now on, I was in a bit of a panic and this garage was close to my work, I dealt with Dave and he really was so helpful, had a look under the bonnet and diagnosed the problem straight away, which wasn't as bad as I had first thought. Called on short notice to have some work done after a failed MOT at another garage who couldn't get the work done for 2 weeks. After receiving the vehicle the team at Cathedral identified that the MOT failure items were not indeed grounds for failure and subsequently got the MOT and some other repairs and maintenance done within 36 hours. Excellent service, honest and open communication and a confidence building experience, I will definitely be back for all future work on this car and others.

Used many times over the years for different vehicles servicing and various maintenance requirements and cannot fault the place, always great service and price and keep you informed along the way !!! Took car in this morning for replacement rear discs and pads ......had a phone call an hour later telling me the pads are fine and the discs have a lot more life in them so rather than changing them all for the sake of it they recommended to leave them for the time being as at least another 6 months life in them !!! Quite refreshing and rare to find this level of honesty in this day and age and goes a long way knowing you can trust them......Thats the reason why I'll continue to give them my custom !!!!

I cannot rate this garage highly enough. I have been using them for almost ten years and not ever disappointed. A experience this week was worthy of special note hence this review. I took my car to a dealer for its annual service (to get the stamp in the logbook) and they told me that it needed a suspension item replacing. I procured the oem part separately and booked in with trusty cathedral autos to fit. They did the majority of the prep work and found that there was nothing wrong with the part the dealer advised needed replacing. They informed me immediately. When I went to collect the car they did not charge me a penny as they did not end up replacing the part. It must have taken a similar amount of work to get to the position to ensure the part didnβt need to be changed but they didnβt even want anything for labour. Itβs rare to find a garage with such high levels of integrity. I cannot recommend them highly enough and I hope to be using them for another ten years. Thanks Dave for the continued stellar service
