   I’ve been coming here for years, but the service has declined badly. Staff have been rude on the phone, hung up on me multiple times, and once left me waiting 40 minutes despite plenty of empty seats, even after I explained I have health conditions and can’t sit for long. They don’t listen to what I ask for and rush through services, leaving me disappointed and feeling unheard. After several poor experiences, it’s clear they’re not interested in providing good service or respecting their customers.

   People complain regarding prices I always pay the price for what ever treatment I have. If you have tips that’s extra removal is extra, if you have a design that’s extra, if you have ombré it’s extra. To stop people moaning about price tell them what you want and get cost before they do it. You pay for what you have done. It is a very busy nail bar so don’t think if you’re looking for a luxury relaxing manicure or pedicure that you should choose here. But if you’re there for pretty nails and toes this is the place for you.

   Had a shellac pedicure. Really good quality, but this is obviously a very busy shops, so the whole experience felt rushed. Considering how much I was paying, I was in an out in under 15 minutes. If you are after quick but good, this is the place for you. If you are after a more relaxed luxurious experience... Go elsewhere.

   Booked a appointment for 5:15. Waited 50 minutes before being seen. Have a wedding ceremony In 2 days time. I was offered 0 apology, 0 reassurance that I’d be served soon. Absolutely 0 acknowledgement. A lady came in whose appointment was booked in for 5:30 and she was seen and served before me. I would suggest going to ‘perfect nails’ in crowthorne. They give Amazing nails and better service. I should never have even tried to go anywhere else.

   I had an appointment for 11:30, they did not start my nails for 45 minutes after. I told them several times I only wanted normal paint, one of the three men I had do my nails gave me gel despite him asking just before if I wanted gel and I said no. Yet they still tried to charge me for gel! My fingers and toes are two different shades even though I asked if it was the same bottle he said yes! I would not waste your time at this nail bar

   Today I went in to have acrylic nails as some of my nails broke. I came out with very thick nails that overflowed onto my skin and felt very heavy on my nails. I tend to have acrylic done about once a year as I normally do gel nails at home so I know how they are supposed to look and feel but I have never had acrylic nails go this badly. Good thing I know how to file my own nails so I don't have to waste more money on getting them removed.

   They were unbelievably busy, my appointment was 45 minutes late and even though they were still busy and probably fully booked with appointments they were still accepting walk-ins! The nails they gave me are thick and uneven, some are even different lengths! I felt like they were rushed and payed very little attention to getting them atleast semi-decent! For the amount it costs these are a huge let down! I've attatched pictures of my nails for reference. Do not recommend, will not be going back here!

   I've been to star nails a few times now and I'm really impressed. The last set of sns lasted about 8 weeks thanks to lock down before I had it taken off. And my christmas nails look amazing! Highly recommend.
