Service could be better - staff seem a bit disinterested. Food however was good. The main flaw is the constant Wasp infestation outside and throughout the cafe. The main door was kept open which defeated the point of the (damaged) insect netting on the windows. Endless swarming of wasps as a result which detracted greatly from being able to relax.
Great place for any dog owner, although wish it had more space for the dogs to play and socialise with each other. Food is quite standard and slightly overpriced for a brunch and I think should have more options for dogs instead of just plain treats and puppy ice cream, just so it could do justice to the name :)
Great Dog-Friendly (obviously!) cafe on the riverside. We pop in regularly when we're in Ellon, and it's often quite busy, but always has space. Hot food, sweet treats, coffee and other hot drinks, everything is good.
A great spot to stop for some brunch. Solid coffee, great cakes, and if you have children or dogs, this is a great place to take them. The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome and looked after :)
We were delighted to find this place open after a good walk beside the River Ythan from Logie Buchan. We had coffee and cake it was nice and relaxing. I did notice they welcome dogs and it seemed a friendly local place. Once we had had our coffee we were set for the walk back. We found a quicker route back. All in all we had an excellent outing thankful for a great cafe at our halfway point.
Perfect location for having brunch or grapping a coffee while walking along the riverside. The place has around a beautiful scenery, it is clean with bench outside and dogs are allowed too.
What a fantastic wee cafe. Excellent menu for snacks, breakfast, coffee and cake. Staff v friendly and, best of all, DOG FRIENDLY!!! Ample parking. Very good opening hours too.
