Lisa and Aaron were brilliant. They are so popular it took a while for the work to be done but their communication was first class. We were kept up to date all the time. The work was done to a super standard and the price was as quoted with no hidden extras. Fully recommend
I can not express how great these guys are! Hathaway was recommended to me through a family friend as I wanted a quick inspection on my car before a 2000 mile road trip around Europe. Although I gave short notice, Aron was kind enough to not just fit me in but also gave enough leeway in case any work was required. I dropped off my car and I'm very grateful to Dean who managed to spot a rather important faulty link in my suspension. I received a phone call straight away to tell me the news, naturally with how these things go I was expecting to be told that a huge bill was coming my way with long repair times but this wasn't the case. Hathaway were honest and transparent through the whole process, managing to source the part that day through local business and avoided the crazy manufacture mark up. Not only that, my car was repaired and collect that same day. Without a shadow of a doubt the best customer service I have received, I left feeling very happy and confident for the road trip ahead. Aaron is simply superb and true to the core. I dont mind traveling to Burton from Derby to keep my car in top notch with Hathaway. He even passed back to me a good discount from his parts supplier which i did not expect. Again 5/5 service
I left a 1 star rating because my dad, who doesnt use the internet brought his car in last year for his air con to be regassed, it was fine on the way home. The next day the tank was empty. He took it back to be told that there must of been a leak in the tank and that all the bumper would have to come off for it to be checked. Since then the car was taken to another garage. They found that there was damage to the valve where it is connected to refill the air con tank because it had been forced on. They replaced the damaged part and regassed it. Since then it has been working fine
Booked our van in for a full service, spoke with carla in the office when booking in she was so professional and her customer service was brilliant. On collecting the van was met by Aaron he was a absolute pleasure so friendly and a great smile. He talked through all the work carried out and pointed out anything I need to keep an eye on. He answered any questions and his customer service was brilliant too no rushing to get me paid up and gone. I would definitely recommend Hathaway Motors for all mechanical works. 5 stars.
Popped in on the off chance that they could have a look at my electric window that had broken that morning. Aaron had the door panel off and got it working again within an hour. Such an honest decent bloke, totally professional and thorough. I will definitely be taking my car to Hathaway Motors for all my car needs in the future. Finally found an honest and reliable mechanic I can trust.
