This garage had my RRS for the best part of two weeks. They charged me over £300 and the car had the same problem when I collected it. By the way I collected it as I knew they had hardly looked at it and they were just fobbing me off. I had called them numerous times and they didn’t really have any answers. I popped in twice when I was driving past and the car hadn’t moved from the same spot. I just asked for my keys back at this point. When I came to collect it they still wanted to keep it longer to try and diagnose the problem - just to try and fleece more money out of me. I thought these were Land Rover specialists - I was well disappointed to say the least ! I took my car to Hi Range on the A38 after getting it back. They diagnosed it in one day and had it back on the road a few days later. Be careful guys.
Having previously been told by another garage, "you must be hearing things!" A friend recommended Woodland autocentre centre for their diagnostic abilities. The owner, Andrew, put me at ease straight away with his friendly and reassuring approach. I left my car with him whilst I went for a coffee! only 20 mins later I had a phone call from Andrew telling me they had diagnosed the problem, he explained it to me in plain terms (without making me feel patronised) and gave me a good price to fix it there and then. I was advised it would take roughly an hour and to wait for another call to say it was ready, I received the call 55 mins later. On my return I was greeted by Andrew reassuring me that it was all sorted. I was so relieved to finally have the problem diagnosed let alone fixed for a good price! Thank you very much Woodland autocentre! I shall be returning for my MOT in a few months!
We have been having our vehicles serviced and maintained by Andrew and his team for a number of years now. Always great service and good value, with a personal touch.
Didn't call and explain that extra work needed to be done to fix the issue with the car and if I'd be happy to go ahead or if it's still affordable so I ended up with a bill £300 over what I was originally expecting to pay, right before Christmas too. I understand that sometimes extras need to be done to get the car fixed but a quick phone call just to double check would have been better. I went up to speak to the Manager and he had agreed to knock some off the price. The car works well and they did fit me in quickly. However, I wouldn't go again or recommend to anybody based on the lack of communication, it's just taking advantage of customers because they know they need their cars back.
They had fixed our car, However they had given an approximate price of around £200 to sort the car out, Upon my partner arriving to collect the car she was dealt with a bill of over £500, She was not allowed to see the invoice, I cannot see how this is acceptable , Adding extras on without consulting the customer first
