   This dental practice is amazing especially if you're a nervous patient like myself. I go every 6 month to see Susan Philip’s and Beth or Lisa for hygienist and don’t feel like I’m going to the dentist all very friendly and put you at ease. Just had a crown done and can’t praise them enough painless too.

   Made an appointment after 10 years of not seeing a dentist thanks to anxiety and another practice causing me a panic attack. As someone who never wanted to see another dentist, now 3 appointments later, I want to return. Everyone is so friendly, from the receptionists who reassured me when I first walked in and could barely speak, to the dental nurses, hygienist and dentist. Dr Neha didn't speak down to me when I mentioned struggling with brushing due to sensory issues, instead encouraging a manageable once a day so now when I can only manage that, I still feel like I've done well rather than my past experiences of struggling and being told by other practices it's not good enough. Beth is a wonderful hygienist, taking the time to explain everything, showing me what to expect before fully starting and often pausing to check I was OK. She also listened and didn't talk down to me and make me feel silly when I said what I was anxious about. In the past, I'd always be told 'it doesn't hurt' or 'it's just a bit longer' when something was sensitive, but Beth actually listens and and moves on. She even offered to skip the hand scaler, which I have big problems with. If you're struggling to see a dentist, this is the perfect place. I know you're reading the reviews because you're nervous, I was doing the same a few weeks ago, here's some advice to help you: You can pick who you see on the website, I'm sure everyone's great, but Dr. Neha and Beth are wonderful. Let them know you're anxious. You're in control. Everything happens at your pace. Wear something comfy. Bring a stressball to focus on, Beth had no issue with it, I even brought my own sunglasses for comfort and the nurse asked if I wanted the bib, incase it felt too trapping, there's loads of options to help!

   I joined Water Lane dental after having an awful experience at an NHS practice and I now wouldn't go anywhere else. Cordelia and the team have looked after me so well, I feel so relaxed going to the dentist now. Cordelia recently did some composite bonding on my front teeth to close a gap that bothered me and it looks fantastic. So natural looking and the entire process was easy and painless. Couldn’t rate her enough. Thank you so much

   I have always been frightened of going to the dentist since I was a child. Since moving over to the uk I was reluctant on finding a new dentist as I was comfortable with my old dentist from my home town. I desperately needed treatment on my tooth, and finding water lane dental has been a saviour. Dr Scott Young, has been absolutely amazing. I needed a root canal and crown treatment, and I have to say the whole process with Dr Young was smooth. He offered me a lot of reassurance, made sure I was never in any pain and explained the process on what he was doing throughout my treatment. The end result is amazing and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I would highly recommend Water lane dentil as the whole team are so lovely and Dr young is very professional and brilliant at his job

   I visited Water lane Dental practice last Friday, and was seen by Scott who carried out some major work to my tooth. He was amazing. very reassuring and informative as to what he was going to do, gave regular updates during the course of treatment. Very gentle, no pain whilst carrying out the treatment, done a fantastic job. Tooth fixed and much better now. Very good. I would recommend Scott to anyone who is nervous about visiting a dentist.
